8/23 Bubbas AMPS 236, +11 107

Hi Katrina - I think you have room to increase tonight to 2.00U if you don't see blue or green this cycle without having to wait to do a curve. Bubbas been on 1.75 long enough after those blues.

Shoot!!! I fed him one can already :/ and I’m actually about to take him to the vet right now. He’s been puking again a lot and he’s getting a lot more open sores

I see that 107 is the +11. How soon before his PMPS?

I just took it and it’s 127, is it ok for me to give him insulin? And no, he’s still puking that poopy smelling vomit and his sores are getting worse and there are a lot more of them. He’s lethargic
 
If you shoot can you monitor? Start with a +2ish and the maybe a later one around +5. If you can, then go ahead and give the full dose of 1.75.
Try and keep Bubbas hungry and break up his pm meal into pm, +1 and +2.

I can monitor as best I can while we’re here at the hospital! I brought one can of food with me but I’m dumb and forgot to bring a plate to put the food on

Thank you so much, it’s very very appreciated! He’s on a 14 day antibiotic , given twice a day, so I think from what the ER doctor said (fingers CROSSED) that this could either get rid of the pancreatitis or like greatly help? If the antibiotics don’t help, than further testing and stuff is needed :(
