Ugh, what a week it's been! Was supposed to go into work today to get caught up on stuff when I was out sick earlier. But now John, one of Alice's "brothers" that I also adopted, is sick.
All started Thursday night when he wouldn't eat. Friday morning he was hiding and didn't come out to eat, but he ate a little at lunchtime. Didn't eat at all last night. He's been drinking water and using the litter box fine, or so it seems to me. Isn't crying like he's in pain, but he's lethargic and last night was even wobbly on his feet like he was dizzy. He spent most of the evening sleeping/hiding in a dark cool corner of the pantry.
This morning, he was out from hiding and willingly had a couple little bites of food. But he's still lethargic and just not his usual self. The good vet is 45 minutes away so I'm going to throw some clothes on and try to get there and back and still go in to work this afternoon. And I'm still not 100%. All this crud from my ears and sinus feels like it's trying to settle in my throat now. Plus DH is out of town until Labor Day so kitties and I are on our own!
Hope everyone else is having a better week! :dizcat
On the positive side, Alice is still doing well. Great, in fact. And my dry food addict cat Molly has started eating more wet food. She only likes Fancy Feast so far and she still wants some dry on the side (a lot on the side), but I'm finally starting to make some progress with her.
