Lovin' Trix's AMBG today...much, much better little lady! Her appy has been great (anti-jinx in a huge way)...in fact, she seems to be moving ever so slightly closer to independent eating! These last few days, I would estimate she has eaten about 1/3 of her meals on her own, off the plate on the floor, rather than with me holding the plate. At the same time, I still have to "present" the food to her, but this is still a huge kitten step for her and her wonky eating habits! No matter, though, as long as she eats - even if I have to hold the plate - I am happy. I tell ya, the sound of my kitties eating is one of my all-time favorite sounds in the whole entire world.
My Dad's port installation went perfectly yesterday...Dad didn't even require any sedation at all! Now we wait for the pre-chemo meeting with the infusion team, and then the chemo begins. It is a scary thought, especially since he feels well right now and the side effects he may experience are an unknown, but at this point more than enough time has passed and it is time to kick some serious cancer a$$.
I'm off today...the first day in weeks that I'm not running to doctor appointments with my parents. I'm almost excited about cleaning my bathrooms and sweeping up dust bunnies...the house is a mess!
Thank you again, everyone, for all your thoughts, prayers, support, and hugs....LL is the most amazing place ever....it truly is.
