8/20 Rufus +11 300, PM +3 229

Yesterday's Colorful Funhouse!

Woke up STUPID today and fed/shot as soon as he tested (about 6:45am, as opposed to 7:35 last night)... AT 210! Rufus gets Brownie points for being a SUPER good cat, and we'll get some tests throughout the morning/day. Still silly after last night - trying to contain Mr. Crazy-pants.

Have a great day today, everybody. Rufus and I thank you for all the help and support last night. :smile:

Always glad to help perk up the morning a little! As for Poke Fests - no kidding! Last night wasn't nearly so bad as the 14th, thankfully, but he had still definitely had enough by the time we hit 71 and called it good. We'll work this dose and see where it takes us. He's being such a great guy!

Now, to business *serious face*: 179 at +3ish! (we're a few minutes shy, lol - I'm calling it three to ease off on the confusion!) I'm going to try to check throughout the day, now that his right ear is looking good again (snicker snicker). Do some cats occasionally wait to bounce until the PM rise? He's staying pretty low. Well, after an evening spent in the Grav(y)yard, maybe he'll go surfing like he did the other night.

As for the cat himself: Silliness abounded when we first woke up, but the sun's position is just right so right now it's time to soak up the rays and take a look at the neighborhood to make sure nothing is amiss.

Human = needs new Nasalcrom. Ragweed, O, Ragweed. Woe is me I. I just want to BREATHE OUT MY NOSE for a change. :roll:

Doesn't he look good in blue? He certainly thinks he does. I like it, too. I just hope he's shootable by PMBG sampling. (This is my current daily finger-crossing ritual).

At +7ish Rufus has wiggled down to 133. I'm definitely going to get a +11 (In this case, that will be 5:45pm... which I'm typing right now to remind myself, :lol: ) I think I'm going to skip +6 for a while and see what's happening at +7 now; that's a significant dip from my fairly consistent +6's for the past four days. I want to see if Rufus' nadir isn't occurring later than I think it is on a consistent basis.

WCR: Sleepy day! That being said, we've been collecting P's all day today. When I woke up he went straight to his box; when I plucked him up to test him he was purring; just minutes later he took a whirlwind tour around the house, tearing up the floors and chasing dust bunnies; and he was damp from a bath at the +7 test. Sounds like someone's getting (what's left of the) bonito flakes with his dinner!

Trying to conserve strips "just in case". I have about 15 left until tomorrow. I can switch to back-up meter if I have to - not ideal, but hey, a test is better than no test, yeah? :cool:

I feel like our bouncing is more of a roller coaster than a bounce! Grr, no more amusement park rides Mr. Bear and Mr. Rufus unless it is the train.... chug chug chug, slow and steady!

I feel for your nose. I am trying to break the Guinness Record for most consecutive sneezes every single morning!

Tomorrow morning we'll be adjusting 15min forward to 7am again... provided the rest of my brain wakes up with the body! :lol: Maybe that 6:45 goof up was an accidental convenience after all.

We'll be testing for a +3.25(and a few min+) in just a bit. He's been resting like such a good boy, all snuggled up on the couch with blankets and pillows. :smile: I don't expect anything scary, but I'm learning that Surprise! BGL fluctuations are much like THE SPANISH INQUISITION!

We'll see what the darling boy (who was NOT so darling the last time I tried to get some numbers from him - hence the lack o' PMPS) gives up and then I can wish everyone a lovely evening!

Bear and Rufus are at the amusement park having their picture taken at every massive drop and shouting "wee!" while we tug on our hair in worry. Not. Fair. :YMSIGH:

(As for those noses - allergies are the worst! I didn't even have them until I reached this so-called "adulthood". I'm finding it's greatly overrated.)
