-Happy Friday! Woot! Can't wait for the 5:00 "bell" to ring. Wouldn't it be so much more satisfying to have a bell announce the end of the day again?

Blue morning for Johnny, but that's okay. We sure got some mileage out of that fresh drop of insulin. We'll test later this a.m. (+3). If we catch him at 180 anytime today, he's getting the second drop. Better call in another refill.

Re: 8/20 Johnny AMBG 158

Oh Johnny.. Bring yourself down boy....your little pancreas might be a little wobbly just now, but it can do it...right? Come on Johnny's pancreas!! Well, there is another drop in there if you need it....but hey, why be a piggy about it?
Have you tried waving the syringe over his head? That sometimes does the trick!
I used to show it to Raja and then wave it over her body about 3 times....

Re: 8/20 Johnny AMBG 158

Johnny must be such a funny guy to get so many days out of one drop. I wonder if you can buy a 1u bottle of insulin
I hope Johnny's pancreas is done having drops and you find a lower number on you next test!
Fingers crossed here!

That's funny...I'm a teacher and I still get the bell...it feels great on a Friday!

Re: 8/20 Johnny AMBG 158

+4 176
+5 182

Well, Johnny knew the rules ;-) and stepped across the 180 line, so Brian shot a drop after the +5 test. Now each drop is valued at a cool $56 each.

Re: 8/20 Johnny AMBG 158 +5(182) *shot* +8(67)

I hope Mr. Pancreas enjoys the healing surf tonight!

Shot at +5 today, because he went over 180.

+5 (182)
3 hours after shot (67)
4.5 hours after shot (58)
5.5 hours after shot (73)

Let me know if the way I'm marking the shots on our SS is confusing. I couldn't think of a better way. It would be too confusing to change to +1, etc. in the middle of the day, chart-wise.

Re: 8/20 Johnny PMBG 73 (shot today)

Thanks for the example, Libby. This is boggling my mind for some reason.

I changed the PMPS and AMPS columns to just PS. Can someone look at how I adjusted 8/5/10 and let me know if that's how it should be? My question then is does that mess up all data from then on? The PS numbers and whatnot. Are they all skewed? Or can I just do what I did for 8/5 for other shots given not at the typical PS time?

throw away the clock, it doesn't matter anymore. It only matters how many hours it is from the last shot, whether that was at 7:00 or 3:00 or whatever. Whenever you shoot, start a new line. Today's shot can be marked as 158 at +65 (was it +65, I think so?). Then the 67 would go in the +3 slot after that, etc. It doesn't matter what time the clock says it is. Does that help?

It makes sense, but I'm not seeing how I can work it into the current spreadsheet... at myself. Do I indicate the +65 or whatever...and where? It's throwing me off that it's set for a 24-hour time period, but I won't really be using that. I looked at Doodle's, but it's just not clicking. Can I give access to someone else to adjust the SS and show me?

I had a nice explanation for you all worked out in my head....until I actually looked at the ss and then I couldn't figure out how to make sense of it either  I can see why you're confuzzled :? Hopefully someone can translate it for you, cause I can't, sorry ;-)

here you go. does this make sense?

if you use one line for each shot it won't matter if you call the 182 a PMPS or an AMPS...

Yes! that's what I was thinking! Maybe if you put the time under the date in the same column, then you just basically ignore the right half of the chart. Right?!

Okay, here's my attempt! (see new ss) Does this work? I can still start a new row each day, but I will be using a lot of @s? Gosh, I'm sorry for the pain I'm inflicting to my teachers tonight.

Should I go back and fix the other couple of instances (and assuming I finally caught the drift)? I will, if it helps.

Definitely a good problem to have...glad for it.
