Didn't post yesterday. 8/18 Thread.
Since I have posted I have only gotten one mid-cycle number. I am going to try to catch his nadir today because he's due for a dose increase.
Today's numbers
AMPS 318 1.25U Levemir
+2 231
+4 94 <---
+5 missing cat
+6 153 <---found his new hiding spot
+7 287

PMPS 400 1.25U Levemir

AM report---> Something broke through Bastian's interaction barrier night before last. He was going onto DH's bed. Unfortunately, he was begging for food, so DH wasn't very happy with him in the morning. During the day, he followed me around a couple of times. Always food focused, but he was being interactive. He's also becoming more interactive with my cats. This morning, as he and Nellie were on my bed, Nellie started playing with Bastian's tail, which he was flicking. He knew she was there, and when he turned around they did a little hissy face to face, but not much. He also batted Casey on the head last night. Thankfully Bastian doesn't have claws, so no physical damage done.
Also happy that last night's PMPS was YELLOW!!
PM report---> Bastian has been on 1.25U for 13 cycles. His PS and other late cycle readings (and thus duration) have improved over the ones he had on 1U, but there is still plenty of room to improve. His nadir is somewhere in the +4 to +6 range. He does not spend enough time beneath the renal threshold.
PS. I have never tested him for ketones because I have never seen him pee. He is apparently very private about his litter box duties.
