We are all stressed over here today, though I feel better thanks to the support and answers to my questions. Ozy has been hiding out in one of his hide out spots (a cardboard box in the closet). He doesn't hide very often, not even around toddlers.
All three cats took a turn in my lap this morning. I think they were comforting me. Amazing little creatures.
Got a ketone test and it is negative.
AM+3 He is napping in my lap and I am dozing too. I chose not to disturb him for a blood test and instead to enjoy the cuddles. Tested at 3.5 after he got up.
AM+5 Sleeping a lot today. He looks comfortable and is alert when I wake him.
AM+6 Very affectionate after blood test. Hanging out with us in his favorite public chair. His back legs are wobbly when he walks today (high numbers seem to coincide with that); however he is no longer walking in that painful stiff legged gait with his back arched like he was walking yesterday.
AM+6 - sleeping but alert and very affectionate when woken.... there is that ugly red 420 again.... I like the color red but I don't like red numbers.
AM+8 -couldn't find Ozy. Finally found him asleep in the rocker upstairs. He used to spend time a lot of time in that chair. He hasn't been upstairs much in quite some time. I think his legs wouldn't allow it. His number may be high but I take his trip upstairs as a good sign.
AM+10 His breathing became labored. Probably pain? He didn't eat much and he is inactive. Gave him bupe. Much better at AM+11.
PMPS- hungry and eating well. Alert, social. Boy that bupe can really help.
PMPS+1 Playing with his mouse, hanging out with us in the kitchen. Warms my heart.
