He was taken off fast acting some time yesterday afternoon.
They gave him 15 units last night and 14 units this morning. The night shift vet was very brief as she was rounding to the day time vet and wouldn't answer a lot of questions.
We have a more urgent issue. By the vet school not feeding him and allowing his BG to shoot up to 700-750, can that, did that cause permanent kidney damage?? I am asking to join the Tanya's CKD group too.
His creatnine has never been over 3. More like 2.5 was his new normal. After 48 hours on fluids, his creatinine is now 4.74 and his BUN is 3.71. His kidneys are worse in just this 48 hours.
