First day dosecrease, 1.25 to 1.50.....let's do this nice and slow, Checkers. Good breffis.
Everybody goes btb after walking all over me to get up, and feed.
Scaredy cat, bean is too wary of upped dose, to go out today, so can get some weeds pulled before it gets hot.
I gotta say, measuring 1.5 is a lot easier than 1.25.

Checkers looks like the new dose is working already -I know the feeling of wanting to be near home to monitor--I've been at this a long while, & still feel the same! Hope you see beautiful numbers-Congrats on dose Crease! :mrgreen:

Yea! It's working! Not too fast now Checkers, keep it slow so you can stay there. Isn't it nice to breathe again when we see these lower numbers?

Sigh....the day got away from me and by the time I dragged him out of his hidey-hole, which is his 'safe' place, it was already +7, and I got a 198.
His nadir used to be +6, and I got lax about testing before that. Gotta remember these cats do whatever they please....
I forgot to tell him, that the increase is supposed to lower his numbers....sheesh!

Not so good, considering dosecrease 1.25 to 1.50.....I don't know afternoon numbers, but really dont think he went down much, between +3 & +7. It's not his style.
Tomorrow's another day.

Barb....sometimes it takes a few doses to show some real activity...(some even wait till the 6th cycle

Thank you for your suggestion uh...question...LOL...in my condo about the karo. (I have actually only used Karo once.) I ended up giving a half dose to him tonight. It will be 16 hours between meals for him so I don't trust the karo to do much over the long haul. Shadow can drop very quickly and I have been known to syringe gravy into his mouth to get his BGs higher... so I didn't want that happening and the dental being canceled tomorrow due to his numbers being too low.
He will be fine with the smaller dose and higher numbers for the night and day tomorrow...many thanks for your question...and concern! :mrgreen:

I actually do think there's a chance Checkers went lower this afternoon. He had already dropped 180 points by +3 so chances are he dropped some more. Either way, good cycle for the first shot of an increase.
