I think his neuropathy is improving. Dare I hope it could happen so fast? He has been on Zobaline for only a week. His legs didn't get bad until late June. I have a picture of him on the kitchen counter in mid June so he could still jump that high then. But starting in late June, he could no longer jump that high and his legs started giving out and wobbling when he walked and he would sit down after walking a short distance. Now he has a little bounce in his step and he isn't wobbling as much.

It doesn't look to me like the insulin is working as well as it used to. How can that be? 2.5 units used to pull it down lower than 3.75 units are now... why? Is his body fighting harder? Is the Lantus no longer viable? I just don't get it.

Once Wink got better control of his BG numbers, his severe diabetic neuropathy started to get better. He was also on weekly methyl B-12 shots.

Not sure why this dose is not working well for Ozy.

Thanks for thinking about it, Deb. Ozy is also on B12 injections but it is a different B12, a kind for his pancreatitis. Sienne recommended Zobaline, which is oral methylcobalamin.

Is it possible I am not injecting it right? I have always done it the same way. I know I get under the skin. That's where it goes, isn't it?
