Well not sure why since this morning plan was to drop back down to 3U but I thought to myself I think I am going to give 4U another day to see what happens and then go down and well his +4 is 198 so I am hoping he is heading down and this is our break the day will tell us of course I went btb and then fed everyone and just now getting ready to have coffee ~O) ~O) all P's in place with Do Lou this morning :mrgreen: Bean is feeling better and off the ledge today and going to go have coffee by the stream and hope for a blue day today with the boy :-D

And very nice stream - what a great way to start the morning. Gosh that is pretty! Hoe lucky you are to live in such a wonderful place. ENJOY! - know I would if it were me.

Sure Lisa...be a flat leaver! Hmph! A fly-by-night...one minute you are there and the next minute...poof...disappeared!
I guess that big pow-wow did the trick...everyone threatening a decrease and silly Do Lou gets better numbers. What a mixed up thing that is! Maybe I should threaten Shadow with less insulin too.... :lol:
maybe we missed the 'right dose"...let's go back and see...
Boom...lower numbers next cycle! :-| Go figure!

Well, you probably won't need to come to the ledge anymore. I do understand your speedy departure...I am just jealous! :mrgreen:

No Michelle I do not live here I do have a small lake next door and a pond in my yard this is just where my head is today( as in not on the ledge) :lol: :lol: this is the smoky mtns in TN and its a pic I took last fall when DH and I were there last time we went somewhere before Do Lou was dx'd. guess I should have been more detailed it was early and I had no coffee yet :lol: :lol:

that +4 sure does look nice!

We also LOVE the smokey mountains .. would live there if we could .. went there for our honeymoon and our 5 year anniversary .. we are hoping one day to be able to go back ...

+5.5 99 well I was afraid to test for fear he would go the wrong way but man I sure did not expect such a drop in such a short time I just never know what this boy is going to throw my way

Hmmm, looks like threatening a dose decrease actually works! :o I'll have to remember that tactic! Happy to see some nice blue and green numbers for Do Lou! :-D

:lol: :lol: and sometimes I am too literal - keeps the sanity going, ya know... But it is a great place to have one's head - even when one can't physically be there. It is the same here - some of the places I used to visit that I can no longer spend the time to get too - since Mannie's DX. and yes - it sure does beat the ledge... :lol: :lol:

I wish I was there Michelle I am hoping for a weekend this fall but DS is still unsure about shots and testing but he is willing to try so have to wait and see at first I had just planned to take Do Lou along but with him being almost completely blind I am so unsure about whether to try to travel with him or not :?: anyway I am not going anywhere for quite a while but I can think about it :-D

Am wondering if the +11 gave the dose settling (7th cycle of 4u) a nice tap on the shoulder. Early shooting can be such a great tool, they are hard to do with schedules though. I hope he made the breakthrough and will STAY here. He's a stubborn boy.

I am anxious to see numbers come closer to shot time, get a +10 and +11. It is possible that he might benefit from another early shot PM cycle to help keep him from returning to his higher yellows and pinks zone. The drop from +4 BG 198 to the +5 BG 99 was pretty quick, that is where he'd likely bounce from.

I know what I am saying (possible early shot) is contrary to the idea of dropping his dose to 3u -- but if this is the breakthrough I think we might think about aggressively trying to keep it going.

yes I would love to keep him with good numbers D and not see him bounce to the Sky like he had the habit of doing when his liver has heart failure from good numbers which I am sure its gearing up for now but I would love a good surprise and not see him bounce but I know better

Hi Lisa, What a fascinating day for you and Do Lou! Even though he bounced in the evening, I'm sure it was gratifying to see all those blues and greens. Keep up the good work Do Lou! And that is a lovely photo.
