Think I'm going to try to convince my vet to write me another prescription today. We just aren't seeing the long lasting drop we used to with this vial. I guess it just may be Trouble's reaction to this dose, but I want to rule out any outlying factors first. The only problem is my vet thinks his numbers are too low and won't want to give me the prescription! Hmmm....might have to fudge some numbers to get this deal done. How do you convince your vet the 200s aren't ideal? I'll let you know if I'm successful or if I am searching for a new vet this afternoon.
Trouble is out in his garden making sure all grasshoppers have been accounted for. I'm pretty sure they all only have one leg by now...he's a fan of wounding them then getting bored!

OR.... jeez, I just dropped my vial/cartridge of lantus on the floor and it busted... what a shame.

Those numbers are still pretty good! :-D

Thanks for yesterday's condo Pat! I am so bad at remember to get that done each time.

Well it took 4 phone calls and me standing at the Costco pharmacy to get the vet to make the call, but she did. I'm not sure where Trouble is headed, so I don't really want her super mad at me right now. I may have told a white lie..."um I think I see flakes in the bottle."

Now at least I will feel better about Trouble's numbers.

Thanks for the link Libby! I might have to take some of those in to show my vet what OTJ kitties are reading. She thinks Trouble almost died at 70!

Trouble is a crabby, independent, mischievous, ornery, mama's boy. He seriously dislikes every person in this world except me. The little monster brought me in a big fat grasshopper this evening to show me his love...I screamed and ran away!
