Wow, I just updated the spreadsheet and Johnny had a lot of tests yesterday. Brian was the alarm-setting tester hero last night. We were so nervous he was going to dive further. It's the first time he's had two shots in one day, plus he had some low numbers and he's been so unpredictable lately. I'm a little embarrassed at the number of tests...Johnny is an easy-going, purr-through-test kind of guy, luckily.
I'm going to call the vet this afternoon to ask for a prescription for a pen. If she's not in today and others think new insulin is the way to go, we may just get another vial (still have 1 refill). I just don't feel like arguing with the vet or teaching her anything today.
In Johnny's world, all is fine. All Ps are in place and all he wanted to do last night was play, play, play! He loves jumping up the wall after soft balls or balled up paper. He's very acrobatic and fun to watch. And then there's Chair Ball. He sits on the chair and you toss him a toy and WHACK! he hits it back straight out of the air, sometimes right back to me, and I even mix up how/where I throw it. And sometimes he catches it in the air with both paws. I'm not kidding!
