Good Morning All. I would like to thank everyone for your support, the last couple of days. You have no idea what it meant to me.
Today;
We have EATING
WE have DRINKING
We have PEE and POOP!
I'm shaking, just being able to write that here.
I woke to him slurping water, then he waited for breakfast, he voluntarily used LB, while I watched , so as to immediately scoop and examine.
He then perused the room civvies eat in, looking for dropped kibble. Omigosh, after 2 days of syringe feeding, that was the best thing to see this morning.
I'm not surprised at high bg this morning, as I let him have some kibble last night, just to get food i him.

I won't be able to update later, as I have to stay off dialup computer, to be available to my DD.
Her 14 year love affair with beautiful drooler, has sadly come to an end this morning. She had to end his suffering.
I'm off to check condos for a while.
I love you all for helping me through a terrible weekend.

I'm sorry to hear about your DD's drooler, that is so sad.

This is so good to see! Yay Checkers!! He is dropping fast so do keep an eye on numbers.

I'm sorry for your DD. It sounds like a hard day for her.

(((Barb))) There are certainly a lot of emotional things going one....I am so happy that checkers is feeling better.
What great news for us all to hear! Hope he has a good day today~~it looks as if he is coming down pretty quickly so you will be busy.
Condolences to your DD today...this is a very sad thing for her and you too....so very sad. :YMHUG:

Sure would like to see blue again. Just as I thought we'd do it...he turned and went back up. *sigh*
He has a dental appt. for Friday. Although he's eating some today, I don't like the looks of his teeth, and gum line. It's been only 5 months since his last cleaning.
Today's best moment, when he jumped in the tub, and waited for me to let the water drip. He came out with his chest soaked. :lol:

mochas teeth were inspected one month after the "specialist" cleaned her teeth and she said they looked great, one month after that our regular vet took a look at them and saw plaque and tartar build up! It has now been almost 5 months and I'm sure she could use another dental, but that isn't in her future!

Hi Barb, It's wonderful news that Checkers is feeling so much better. Give him some scritches for us. So sorry to hear that your daughter lost her companion of 14 years. We wish the drooler a safe passage over the bridge.

wonderful that checkers is doing better, YAY!!! I am so sorry about DD's drooler - it just never is easy. So sorry.

Hooray that Checkers is feeling better! That's great news!

So sorry for your daughter having to say goodbye to her dog. That just really stinks. If only they could stay with us always....
 
Not a good end to the day. He is still 'off' today. He ate a few snacks when I put it under his nose. Ate a little supper, 'cause I doused it with tuna juice. More reserved than usual.
This bean can't wait for tomorrow to come.

tomorrow is always a new day .. so you may just get those numbers you want!

By the way, was that a double dog dare ya about the miralax? :lol: Do you think checkers needs it? I don't know if mocha needs it, but other people on here say it won't hurt her if she doesnt .. I already make her foods soupy, wouldn't that help IF she was constipated?
