Max and Cleo are BG Twinsies this AM.

I don't know what happened to my reply but I will try again. Glad to hear you are back. Hope you had a great holiday. I was not sure about that reduction but was afraid not to try it again because of the SRT working lately. Wish I hadn't given the HC, but wasn't at my best yesterday and wanted to try and take a nap, which didn't work out anyway. Still trying to navigate my way with Max through post SRT and just learning as I go. I know I need to wait on Max to see what he needs and not try and be so proactive. That's just how I am, but I'm trying. Thank you for your reply. Also I posted Max's labs on his SS while you were away. His lymphocytes were quite low. Thought it was his corticosteroids, but didn't think about vet stress.Back from holiday and catching up on tags. There is no right or wrong answer on post SRT dose cats. He didn't go below 70 (not sure why you gave HC then), but he might have. This is where you need to get a feel for what Max needs and wait for him to tell you one way or another. If he seems stuck at 5.0 units and not getting any safe lower numbers, I'd increase him back again.
You commented yesterday on low lymphocytes, that can be a vet stress thing.
No rule says you have to wait six cycles. Wait until you know the reduction failed, then increase. Not all cats take six cycles to break a bounce, so for them you'd wait the length of time it takes to break the bounce. Or if you see numbers trending up after a reduction, that can also be a trigger to say the reduction failed.I know I’m breaking the rules by not waiting 6 cycles but
