Luci must have heard ya'll yesterday - and gave me ONE green visit to the lagoon! :D And then she skittered right back up to the beach where she was hanging out with the kids at the Tiki Hut - and by PMPS she was back up in that yellow tree - that yellow is getting tiresome and she needs to give it up already. :arghh: Well at least the clock restarted and she gets a reprieve on the increase - at least for now - but I'm watching - as I make the sign - two fingers point to my eyes and then at her - I'm watching you Luci...;)

And today is my birthday - mama is going to go have dinner with the family tonight - watch Miss Luci throw down some fancy numbers - since I actually have plans to go somewhere and do something that doesn't include her...:p

I figured at this time of my life - I received a Medicare card yesterday:eek::eek: - I'll make my own birthday cake. Love coconut and lemon - so viola! Here's a made-from-scratch coconut cake with lemon curd filling. Ya'll come on over and we'll have cake this afternoon :bighug::bighug: The kids will not be getting any cake..:rolleyes:

Happy Birthday Sue!! What a beautiful cake you made, I'm sure it'll be delicious! Would love to join you for a garden birthday party this afternoon, I'll bring some champagne! With Leo's pink AMPS today, he's not even allowed to look at the picture you posted!

A green for Luci Cat!! Good progress, maybe she'll decide hanging in the trees is not as much fun as the lagoon! :D

I remember when you were comparing meters... I am hoping you can give me some insight here. I have had to move Nelli over to ReliOn micro until one drop strips arrive. How much difference, if any, is there in the reading between the two? At +5.15 a 49 then second time 51 (this on the micro). Do you remember if there was much of a difference between the two meters as far as readings?
I am going to test her again at +6 which is in 15 minutes.... As I remember some of the meters you were comparing and testing out were quite a bit different- lower or higher?

the coconut and lemon sounds delicious, excuse me while I drool -- I have some lemon pound cake, may have to drench it in coconut milk

tell Luci NOT to do what Catcat did today, I'll have to check his toes for shark bites -- maybe he was chasing the plaid fish again
 
Happy birthday!! I am really hungry right now - I want to come share that cake! Congratulations on getting that Medicare card:smuggrin: I am still learning to request senior discounts. I'm never sure what age works! Seems it keeps going up. Went to a restaurant, and the manager said his rule was, whoever asks for a senior discount, gets it!
