Flat yesterday

Woohoo! Nice blue start again this morning! :-D :-D We are liking this flatness, we rarely see it at blue and low yellow. Usually, Zener likes flat pink. :-x Appy isn't great this morning, ok, it's lousy. He liked the first bowl with the squash, the second one - not so much. I did a little tummy massage and got some purrs, which then turned into growls and even a hiss! :o Not a good move on the beans's part, to elicit that response right before the shot.  Oh, well, he is now napping with sleeping Anne and a bowl of food.

OT: My 5k race on Sat was good. It was a beautiful morning and I got to chat with the wife of a guy from my hometown in IL. She's a PT (a former student of Anne) and super nice. My time wasn't great but I felt good. :-D

Sending tons of vines to ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter, Bern's Tashie. Paws crossed for OTJ trials, Oliver and Sammy. :-D I hope Michelle has good weather for her fabulous hike. Happy Monday, LL!
Liz

Re: 8/12 Zener AMPS 183

Hi guys .. we love seeing these blues and yellows on zener! It would be nicer if his appy was better though .. maybe later ... Congrats on the 5K run .. hey, it's not always about the time but about getting out there and doing it right? At least that would be my motto, if I ever ran one .. ... Have a great day guys!

Re: 8/12 Zener AMPS 183;+3 159

Is Z-man Mr. Moody today? I hope the btb time helps him wake up on the right side of the bed.
LOVELY numbers today! Keep up the good work!

Congrats to Liz on the run! Woo hoo!!!

Liking the flat blues, but not the attitude, Z-man! I hope he keeps surfing and starts to eat better.

Where in IL? I'm originally from Aurora.

Beautiful blues Zener - hold that line! No need to be hissy with MamaLiz - eat your fuds, lil one. Glad your race went well - I would like to jog again one day. I'm not incapable, just lazy. You both have inspired me with all your outdoor activities up there! Perhaps this fall I'll try again...I'm pretty sure the first step is to get some new cool shoes...yeah..
Have a great day!

Good appy vines coming your way Z! Poor guy. I'm glad your 5K went well and felt good. That is definitely what counts. Have a great night all!

Very nice surf...I hope Zs appy picked up throughout the day. Happy Appy Vines are on deck!!

Re: 8/12 Zener AMPS 183;+3 159;+6 118;+9 128

Very nice blue surf for Mr Z. Wish his appy was better, but how better to get the mamabean to massage the tum. :-D

Congrats on the 5K, Liz. My son and DIL did one on Sat, and she kicked his butt. And yes, it's all about feeling good :-D

BLUETIFUL surf going on today! I guess that almost makes up for going after mommaLizBean when she was just trying to help you.

Do you get a T-shirt for each of these races? You must be getting a good collection going.

Re: 8/12 Zener PMPS 164

I do get a t-shirt at every race and, yes, it's quite a collection. I can't remember the first race that ever I did, it was more than 30 years ago. I have many race shirts older than the students in my classes.

Zener's appy is good tonight. He just had his squash (which he likes, phew!) and now he's having a picnic. We are loving this blue surf today {anti-jinx}. :-D Tillie had a little puke today but her appy is good tonight too. :-D

Re: 8/12 Zener PMPS 164

Surf that blue, Z Man!
Hey Tillie, I'm ready to come over to your place to scout out those mousies.
~Rusty

I have a friend who made a quilt out of her race t-shirts. It's neat. 30 years! Wow! I started late, so my racing days only go back to 1986 (the Brooklyn "Turkey Trot" on Thanksgiving Day). I still wear that shirt on Thanksgiving

Thanks for visiting Rusty today.

Re: 8/12 Zener PMPS 164

What a gorgeous flat blue day! And he liked squash! What a great treat. I hope his poos become perfect.

Congrats on your run. \M/ \M/ \M/

Re: 8/12 Zener PMPS 164;+3 135

HI everyone! What a nice day for Zener. I love those blues, nice and flat and safe and good. A super good day for you Z-Man! Keep them coming.

I just wanted to thank you guys for continuing to support all that I do, whether it be here or on FB. many thanks!

Re: 8/12 Zener PMPS 164;+3 135

Holy blue cow! It's been a blue day. We hardly know what to do with a nadir in the middle of the cycle.

@Devon - appy picked up mid-morning, such a relief for the beans. BWAHAHHAAH on "if I ever run one".

@Josie & Ripley - Zener has the blues.

@Ann & Tess - his tummy was cramping so that was the source of the 'tude. Much better later in the afternoon and tonight. And still blue. :-D Liz is from Oakford, a very small town near Petersburg near Springfield. I lived in Champaign for 11 years, 1983-1994. We've been in Arizona now for 17 years but Champaign still feels like home to me.

@Tara & Buster - tummy is better so no hissing tonight. And the blues are holding. I absolutely agree on the shoes - a girl must have the proper equipment for motivation! ;-)

@carla - as requested, still blue and improved appy.

@John - still blue and getting closer to the lagoon.

@Mary & Oliver - love the cat relaxing in the blue waters, and the green cat too - green is my favorite color! Appy was much improved tonight.

@Melissa & Mr T - appy was good tonight, sweet relief for the beans. Liz's next race is in October, she is doing the long course and I can't remember the exact distance. It's all on trails in the national forest at 8000-9000 feet, and sometimes there is a dusting of snow up there by then.

@Amy & TrixieCat - nice blues and nice appy - priceless!

@Barb & Checkers - thanks for the nice number and appy wishes, it's working. BWAHAHAHAH on the "she kicked his butt."

@Wendy & Neko - GREAT surfing pic! Liz is getting quite the t-shirt collection. Now all the race t-shirts are that cool wick away material - short sleeve and in the autumn runs, long sleeve. Do you get neat gear for rowing races?

@Ella & Rusty - Hey's Rusty - come on over, there's action at the woodpile. Tillie could use a little help, she has a high opinion of her hunting skills but we hasn't seen no mouses caught yet. I's more of a bird man myself. - Zener
That's great you wear your running shirt on Thanksgiving! My first running t-shirt was from 1977, and I had to quit in the mid 90s because I didn't have knee cartilage left. It was a hard but wise choice, as I haven't needed knee replacements yet. Walking and hiking are it now and I'm grateful for that!

@Marje & Gracie - we hardly know what to do with flat nice numbers and a nadir in the middle of the cycle. Zener loves the squash! Tillie thinks it is poison.

@Michelle - yes, safe and flat blues, we LOVE it! After a rocky start with tummy cramps and poor appy, it turned into a very good day. We love to read of all your adventures and the excitement of the pussy posse at your house, and especially enjoy the photos on Facebook of hikes, Nicholas and his new buddies and what Lola has gotten into lately. Thanks for staying connected in LL, you have so much knowledge to share!

Zener is tucked away on his favorite fleece blanket in the bed with the snoozing MamaLizBean. Night duty bean has another test at mid-cycle, who knows what it will be. Will he dabble his paddy paws in the lagoon? Will Mr Liver have a freak out? Will the blue surf continue? Stay tuned!

Re: 8/12 Zener PMPS 164;+3 135

Keep slidin' Z-man, looking good!

No good stuff for rowing regattas, unless you win or place. Most races you need to wear uniforms so no T-shirts. They are more into medals or trophies. I've won a couple of cheap medals and a water bottle. DH did get a jade pendant with a carving of a rower on it for his win a couple week ago but that was a bigger regatta.

Re: 8/12 Zener PMPS 164;+3 135

Nice surfing Zener! What a pretty day!

I went to school in Normal, not so far away! And yes, I've heard all the jokes! ;-)
