WCR: was sleeping on my leg when I woke up this morning. Is a happy girl. Not real sure what happened after +5 last night as we both crashed and didn't do any more spot checks. I always want to think the worst, she hypo'd and is just now coming up, peter always want's to think she slowly dropped and this is as low as she got. Guess we will never know. Anyways, we decided to feed her MC for breakfast this morning. Don't want her dropping so low we can't bring her back without seeing the consequences in the next day or so with high numbers.

Can you even in your wildest dreams remember back a year ago - remember how panicked you would have been with the numbers Mocha has been having? Now look at you - you are shooting a 60 without a blink of the eye. Polish those balls up - you deserve them. The numbers Mocha has been having recently and the dosecreases are great. I hope it continues!

I can so relate to this - it is so true. Kudos to you! Mocha is doing so well - as are you and Peter in keeping this all in line. Awesome job! and beautiful amps!

arghhhhhhhhhhh ... I KNEW to check at +1 but I didn't. The phone was ringing and then I forgot and jumped in the shower ... guess that's what I get for not checking! We fed MC at breakfast but that must not of done much. I just put out some more MC with some HC gravy on it which she gobbled up. So yet again mocha earns another dose reduction. When will this stop? When does she level out at a certain dose?

You know the drill - breath. Rinse, lather, repeat. You've done it lots of times - just stick with it and the HC and Karo will do it's trick. Breath. Oh, don't forget your chocolate. Hope you got lots of lancets, test strips. You are going to be busy.

ahhhhh .. much better! Now let's hope she doesn't keep sky rocketing but rather sits here for awhile .... thanks for all the kind words today!

Harley flipped a switch in her brain a week or so ago and it's been emerald city ever since...looks like Mocha's also ready to take a trip down the yellow brick road and join us! Slow down, Mocha! WOW!!! What a morning you have had Devon! I think the HC and Karo is really kicking in....now Mocha, you can ssslllllloooooooowwwwww down....that is high enough.

should we reduce mocha by a full .25 tonight, taking her to a (S)2.0, or take her down just a little, to a solid 2.0? Thanks!

is this the best thing to do, even with the blue numbers popping up? (not doubting you, just need reassurance we aren't moving to fast!)

yep, the blue numbers are fine and you don't want the shed to get ahead of us again. I learned that the hard way on Lucy's first trip down the dosing ladder. If you race too fast, she might lose it and we don't want that.

Mocha hardly even bounced today, that's really, really good.

omg! wow Devon! I can not say how proud of you I am!! We take a break from the board for a while, only popping in here and there... then here you are shooting a 60!!!! :o and Mocha is having such fabulous numbers day in and day out. :-D

So so excited :smile: Hope you and the family are well!
 
thanks celia ... we have certainly come a long ways, and we wouldn't have without the help of this board. I saw the 36 today and didn't really react to it .. I just took care of it and went about my day ... a long ways indeed!
