Good Morning, Everyone,
Happy to see the board back online. Linda BearMan told me about the substitute board that Donna set up, but it was late last night when I got the message so I didn't get a chance to try it. Thank you, Donna.
Rusty had a good day yesterday with lots of outdoor time. The carpenters were working, but Rusty enjoyed his outdoor time in the back yard, lounging around in the sun. His foot/leg was fine all day, but he tweaked it last night jumping up on the couch. He surprised us with a bg of 51 at PMPS +4 last night. His breathing didn't sound good at bedtime and because of the 51 I had his test kit all ready to do a nighttime test, but I slept through the alarm. ohmygod_smile In any event, he is fine this morning. We had a good test, breakfast, shot, lung treat, schmooze. The carpenters have arrived. It's supposed to rain later today, so I hope they can work around the rain.
We have a beautiful new front door. The frame needed a lot of work/replacement, as did did the top step of the stoop. They rebuilt it to keep moisture away from the bottom of the door (this was a huge problem with the old door). Work on the re-building of the greenhouse started yesterday afternoon and is proceeding nicely. Tomorrow carpenter # 2 will begin priming and painting the door and the new siding boards on the house. Carpenter #1 will be off tomorrow (Fridays are his days with his son), and both will be off next week. They will finish up the greenhouse and the odds and ends the following week. This is great for us, because we had planned to go down to Camp Stu next week and now we will be able to do that.
Wishing you all a fine day--the first day of August!! Sending healing vines to all in need,
Ella & Rusty
