Good Morning, Everyone,

Happy to see the board back online. Linda BearMan told me about the substitute board that Donna set up, but it was late last night when I got the message so I didn't get a chance to try it. Thank you, Donna.

Rusty had a good day yesterday with lots of outdoor time. The carpenters were working, but Rusty enjoyed his outdoor time in the back yard, lounging around in the sun. His foot/leg was fine all day, but he tweaked it last night jumping up on the couch. He surprised us with a bg of 51 at PMPS +4 last night. His breathing didn't sound good at bedtime and because of the 51 I had his test kit all ready to do a nighttime test, but I slept through the alarm. ohmygod_smile In any event, he is fine this morning. We had a good test, breakfast, shot, lung treat, schmooze. The carpenters have arrived. It's supposed to rain later today, so I hope they can work around the rain.

We have a beautiful new front door. The frame needed a lot of work/replacement, as did did the top step of the stoop. They rebuilt it to keep moisture away from the bottom of the door (this was a huge problem with the old door). Work on the re-building of the greenhouse started yesterday afternoon and is proceeding nicely. Tomorrow carpenter # 2 will begin priming and painting the door and the new siding boards on the house. Carpenter #1 will be off tomorrow (Fridays are his days with his son), and both will be off next week. They will finish up the greenhouse and the odds and ends the following week. This is great for us, because we had planned to go down to Camp Stu next week and now we will be able to do that.

Wishing you all a fine day--the first day of August!! Sending healing vines to all in need,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

What a nice start for Rusty - I like that blue, and very close to the Lagoon. :-D Go Rusty! the lagoon needs its meister.

i didn't try the back up board either, too late for this tired bean. I know you don't do FB, b but there is also a nice alternative there too, and one can always find someone online there.

All sounds wonderful with the work being done at your house. YAY for the front door. and a greenhouse? COOL! SO GLAD too that the timing worked out, with the camp stu trip and all.

And Rusty: take are of that foot! Us beans worry about you. Nice on your 51! Looking good my man.

Have a great day Ella. I hope all goes well.

Hi Ella

What a nice start to Rusty's day. Good that he didn't have a big bounce from the 51 last night.
I didn't know he had a booboo leg. Hope it's all healed and feeling good by tonight.

Yay on all the work being done well, on your house. This has been such a wet summer, in this area, anyway.
I can't seem to get my son and a dry spell at the same time, to paint back deck, after all his work, pressure cleaning it.

Have a wonderful day :-D

Re: 8/1 Rusty AMPS 144

Hi Ella. Nice AMPS for Rusty. Glad he was able to get some outdoor time. Doesn't sound like the noise from the carpenters bothered him at all. So nice that you'll be able to proceed with your plans to visit Camp Stu next week. Your home is going to look great when the carpenters are all done. Bet you're excited.

Have a great day Ella.

Beautiful numbers for Rusty! I hope her didn't re-injure his paw too much.

sounds like the work is going well, i hope things stay dry until the painting can be done. I think we need before and after pix of the door and the greenhouse

Re: 8/1 Rusty AMPS 144, +5.5 115

Hi again,
Rusty is having a low-key day. The carpenters worked all morning and part of the afternoon, until the rain began. The greenhouse is framed. It's too wet to do any painting, but it may be OK by tomorrow. We are very pleased with their work.

Hi Ella, nice slide today for Rusty. Sending healing vines for Rusty's foot. Sounds like it's getting better hopefully. Glad all the work on the house is going well, all sounds wonderful. Nice it will be finished in time for you to leave for Camp Stu.

Re: 8/1 Rusty AMPS 144, +5.5 115

Nice blue surf for Rusty today. I hope his foot is feeling better. That's great the carpenters are doing such good work.

Re: 8/1 Rusty AMPS 144, +5.5 115

Lookin' good today, Rusty! Hopefully the little foot tweak last night will pass. It does sound like it's improving overall. I'm glad your work is moving along quickly...I'm jealous, too! DH and I are worn out do-it-yourselfers who are stuck in the middle of some projects.

Have a great evening!

Good numbers despite the owie foot.....
Healing vines for that foot...

Wish I was getting house fixes..... I'm  with envy.

Hi Ella,
Nice numbers for Rusty.
I'm glad his leg is getting better.
Rusty - Just be careful jumping, OK?

The LagoonMeister is on duty tonight, after a flat, low-blue day. His appetite picked up at dinner and he enjoyed a "lung treat" after dinner (I decided to raise his Allerplex to 2 a day to see if his lung congestion will continue to improve; at present he's "stuck"--improved but still room for improvement). Marje suggested that since he is a large kitty, he can easily go to two capsules a day (and the vet's instructions were to give 1 a day for the first bottle of 150 capsules and then go to 2 a day; we are just finishing the first bottle).

Rusty really impressed the carpenters (both young guys in their 30s). One asked if he was a cat! He'd never seen a cat like Rusty!! He wondered if Rusty was friendly

Wishing everyone a good evening. ni ni,

Ella & Rusty
