well, 3 days of normal poo was apparently all we're getting. back to pudding poo this morning and added in some pukus on the carpet. tell me why they always have to do it on the carpet? we took out all the carpet upstairs and everything is wood, but he went downstairs and barfed.

on the plus side, it's in the same vicinity as the pee i'd discovered a couple of days ago and the carpet guy is coming tomorrow to spot clean. so happily, he did it pre-carpet cleaning.

you can find the rosy side of anything if you try hard enough, right? :-D

calling the vet next to talk about the c diff issues. he had his last dose this morning and we're definitely not done with the issue yet.

looks like it's a flat day for mr punkin. he seems like he feels ok. no CPC because he's still not crazy about this food, but he did keep grazing on his plate with a little help from anya, til it was eventually gone. the funny thing is miss picky anya likes the merricks that no other kitties seem to like. :-D she's a strange one.

i have dental surgery tomorrow to get 2 implants (waaahhhh) so am feeling thoroughly sorry for myself.

Julie, I'm just sending you some extra cheery feel better vines and I hope you continue to find those little rosy sides to things, all day long.

Hi guys .. I'm sorry to hear punkin's LB actions are not improving .. hoping the vet and you can figure out the next best thing for him, perhaps just longer AB usage?

I also have a dental appt this week on Friday to get a crown .. I'm VERY nervous .. and I tried telling the receptionist that perhaps I should have a Valium the morning of, but she quickly assured me there was nothing to be nervous about .. yeah .. right! ohmygod_smile I'll join your pity party if you don't mind!

I do not like the dentist! I've been seeing the same one since I was a teenager. He's very soft-spoken with kind, blue eyes and I have always trusted him with my kids. But, as a child, mine didn't get the attention my kids' teeth did, so...lots to live with and I'm allergic to pain! So, I put it off as long as possible...making for a more painful visit (in the mouth AND in the wallet) but can't seem to break the cycle. Hope your appt goes well - and Devon's, too!

Pretty blues for Punkin, sorry about the carpet and the c diff issues, though.

You finding something rosy reminded me of Pollyanna. Have you seen that (old) Disney movie? She plays the "Glad Game." Used to be one of Jessica's favorites...

Hope you have a great day -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Julie, your condo is a good laugh. Not at the carpet of course, but a reminder of how that happens to us too. Hardly any carpet left in the house (which means also hardly any fleas) but where do you think they head when they feel the need to throw up. Yup, the rugs or bit of carpet on the stairs. Oh well, the carpet on the stairs has been an auxiliary scratching post so it's yet another reason to update it.

Sorry to hear about Punkin's runny poo and hope the vet has some good ideas of what to do. At least his numbers are nice today.

Take care on the dental yourself, maybe try a little Rescue Remedy? I hear it works with people too.

I've been gone and missed the lb problems. So sorry!!! Poor Punkin. I hope he gets to feeling better soon. Healing vines for the big guy and for your dental tomorrow. You have every right to feel sorry for yourself. That stinks. Thinking of you Julie!!

Nice blue numbers despite the pudding poo and pukus. We are a little worried about punkin not making the CPC. C diff is a toughie to treat in humans, so paws crossed you knock it out soon!
