Merry Monday all!

Faraday is giving my pet sitting friend quite the run around these last couple days. He missed a shot 4 cycles back, but even before/beyond that his numbers have been creeping up.

Last night he would not put up with any BG testing, so I just had my friend give insulin and call it a night. This morning’s number is quite disheartening. I’m sure some of it is stress from us being out of town (we get back tomorrow afternoon), and new construction next door, but is it time for an increase?

Previously I haven’t seen much action until at least cycle 2 of an increase, so do you think I’m good to tell my pet sitter to increase the dose to 1.5 tonight PM? I just hate these higher numbers.

He is higher from the skip. His numbers will come down a bit once the depot rebuilds. I know it's very disheartening to see the higher numbers, but it's just 2 more shots before you are home. It's better if he stays higher for a day than too low for an hour. You can increase him to 1.5u tomorrow night when you are around to monitor. What time do you get home tomorrow? Just before PMPS?

I agree with Bhooma. He will get back to good numbers when you are home.

We’re hopefully getting home around +8. Which is past theoretical nadir for him, so you’re right, I should be patient and wait.
