Is this a bounce? I'm nauseous just adding it to the chart! Her numbers are looking better. Hopefully that vet visit helped and she'll be feeling better and producting those beautiful Kahlua numbers soon.
Happy Thursday

I would have re-test. How long ago was that test done?Is this a bounce? I'm nauseous just adding it to the chart!
To get you caught up MaryI've been swamped and haven't been on the board much, so I've missed what's happening with sweet Kahlua???
Thank you, Karolina.
I usually do....I just didn't this time. But, it's not a fluke.....314 now. I waited 2 hours past her last meal, too.Next time you get a number that's really high or really low re-test right away as it might be a glitch. Those meters get faulty sometimes.
You can always test now just to see what she's doing
Thank you! I'm wondering if, when her t4 gets too low, her glucose spikes. This happened back in November. I assumed it was the ear medication, which has a steroid in it. But, maybe they are connected.Thank you, Karolina.
Maria, sending you and Kahlua all the healing vines. I know those higher numbers are so concerning--it worries me to death when Jude spikes like that. I'm so glad to see she is dropping back down a bit.
That's what I'm thinking. She stayed in those yellows for a few days, too, so she could also be bouncing after that short run of blues.
Just a cerenia shot and a b12 shot. The vet thought the high numbers were from her ear and her anal glands. She said it might take a day or 2 to come down. But, she was on her 5th day of yellows, so I upped her dose. I suspect it's a bounce. She's still only interested in baby food though. I've tried mixing a tiny amount of her raw food in, but she's too smart for that.Did they give her any medicine that could also be contributing to higher numbers??
