Doing great all P's in place :-D ~O) Mama Bean still kinda frustrated with his numbers but somehow I just do not think thats going to go away for me <sigh>... I need to focus on the purring Do Lou part since he seems to be feeling so well although I do worry about next weeks dental not looking forward to that even though I will be there the entire time :roll:

This mama bean feels your frustration also but agree we need to focus on something other than numbers. :mrgreen:
You are lucky that you get to be with Do Lou during the dental.

We all understand your frustration! This whole diabetes thing really tries our patience! Maybe the dental will improve his numbers! So lucky you can be there with him.

Yes that was why I scheduled it he is having complete bloodwork done as well just to make sure nothing else is going on its been since Nov that he had bloodwork ran and his teeth in my opinion do not need cleaning but I thought he is 7 and has yet to have it done most of my cats get a dental about age 5 or 6 but their teeth have needed it so we shall see if this helps or not I figure it will not make a diff but at least it will be a while before he needs it again

Heading in the right direction Do Lou! That's so great that you are doling the dental...and that you can BE there too!
Problems with their teeth is a nasty thing...so it's great that you can do it now as a base reading or whatever you call that...you know what I mean...make sure his mouth is looking good! Happy Friday Eve!

Keep on coming down DoLou. You're headed in the right direction.

It's good to be proactive on the dentals. Tess has always had problems w/ plaque and gets one every couple of years. Hopefully this is what has kept her from losing anymore teeth .

Dentals are a lot more stressful to think about & anticipate, than they really are--Vets do dozens of them all the time-
Probably the one surgery they have kind of perfected :? --Our thoughts are worse than what really happens--
AND you will be there--How Lucky you are!~--Have a great day--You'll be glad you scheduled it--

Hi Lisa, Do Lou has pretty good numbers and is happy. That's what matters, yes? Oh, the dental! Stu has never had a dental. I guess we ought to do one (he'll be 13 in October). He has very sharp teeth and uses them when you try to look in his mouth! How was your wild orchid hike? Did you see the orchid?

I'm with you on the frustration, Tray has had pink amps and its making me crazy! At least Do Lou has yellows and is a purring happy kitty.

still dropping I had fed him some LC at the 70 but he is still going down

+8.5 97 at least he has hopefully started to surf now instead of dropping would love to see him stay in good numbers

Not too bad of a day for DoLou! Hopefully he doesn't climb much more before PMPS. :-D

I can understand your worry about the dental. None of mine have ever had one (2 are 9 years old and 1 is 7 years old) and I keep thinking I should get them done but I can't bring myself to do it! We will be keeping you and DoLou in our thoughts next week when he goes in for his.

Look at those beautiful numbers from Do Lou today! And you were frustrated?? Do Lou must have heard you and decided to get with the program.
