Hope you can work in a nap! Ugh...hate when they wake us up...demanding little fellas aren't they? :banghead: At least you have a good AMPS this morning:joyful:

Nice start and sorry about the early wake up call. It appears you put the extra time this AM to good use. :) Forrest was obnoxious this morning at 12 :30 AM he wanted outside. He got to go because momma was too darn tired. He was out till 6 AM.......waiting on the stoop.

He's headed down to the lagoon! Do you have frozen high or medium carb foods? I'd give him some of those - if I had to leave for the day - give him some now and the frozen one's he can eat when/as they thaw...you sure don't want him going any lower while you're away...can you check on him at lunchtime?
No, I work 45min away, leaving MC down

I just gave a whole can, called told them I would a few min late
I swear these cats have a 'sense' of when you need to leave...and they do this stuff on purpose...:( But they're cats...hope the MC will pull him up for a few hours ...will that get him past his usual nadir?

He’s probably gonna be sky high by the time DH gets home, better to se safe than sorry, thanks for the help guys

I missed all the excitement, went BTB . Glad you have a neighbor that can check on him. Your test were closer together than 20 -30 minutes so he could have gone up more than you know. Good job giving the HC food and leaving out the can of MC. Keep us posted after the neighbor checks on him.

I had to leave but couldn’t till I seen it go up lol

Finally got your green but of course at the wrong time. Bella woke you early to tell you!! ""Look Ma ,aren't you Happy?

Best of luck I'll be waiting to hear everything is FINE!

So Glad to hear everything is Good with Bella. Looks like it took a few days for the increase to kick in.
Bella & Ravan have been communicating! On 7/1 Ravan dropped & it took 1 1/2 hrs to get him up to blue.He ate 2 cans of FF Gravy Lovers!
The low #'s didn't scare me , it was Bg taking so long to respond!

Looks like your going to get those Green #'s!:D

Wished I could have been at home so I didn’t have to give HC until he went lower, but I stayed as long as I could

You did great! It's always a panicky feeling when you see that low number and you HAVE TO LEAVE! :arghh: We all agree that our cats KNOW when the pressure is on and you have to go - and they do this stuff THEN! :banghead::banghead: Luci is keen on when I have an appointment and DH won't be here...don't ever underestimate their intelligence or the fact that they can read our minds - and our calendars.

I'm scheduled for an extensive dental appointment (crown prep) on July 10 - and wouldn't you know DH has a luncheon that day - we're discussing the conflict but only in the car!:p Never in front of Luci - I'm sure she'll decide - on that day - to hit the breaks and go into the deep greens...and then visit those darn sharks...for some reason it's just always the very worst times...and she decides to saunter down to the lagoon and jumps right in - and as much as I want her to be there - for her healing time - every time just can't be a good time. So she cannot go without adult supervision! And out come the HC FF - just have to sacrifice that day and head her little butt back up the beach and sometimes even into the trees (yellow or pink) makes me sad and aggravated to have to do that:banghead::banghead:...it's a setback...but as many here will tell you - better a day too high than an hour too low. After all we've done to help our babies we don't want them slipping into hypo with no one at home...so take the hit...the high numbers...and hope for better days ahead...when you can test...Bella will come back around for you...just wait and see :):D:D

PS - Buy some HC and MC FF and cut it into quarters and freeze it in an ice cube tray - put into a ziplock with label of what's what and get it out when you have to leave - it'll give him something to lick on over the next hour or so...I've heard of people freezing all sorts of things for their kitties; broth, HC/MC/LC - and I also bought one of those timed feeder devices - so that I can put a couple of frozen cubes in there for the day (that's coming up) when we're both out of the house - Luci can hear the thing turn - and she's right there to see what's in the bowl for her. Well worth the money - especially if it keeps your baby safe while you're away and cannot test. :bighug: Hoping for good news when you get home today :)

Thank you so much, yeah I almost called DH and had him come home as he has vaca days, I don’t work, I don’t get pd, I’m going out of town next month for 4 days and I had him take off those days as well, I would be worried sick, I’m gonna make a post when I leave, he will do spreadsheet but not on here, so I was gonna ask everyone to keep a BIG eye on him, he can read what you all recommend and respond, it’s just to much for him to make a thread each day, I will be leaving my iPad with him as I’m going out in the middle of nowhere and will have no internet some of the time(daughter and I are going on a ghost adventure at waverly hills sanatorium all night)
I stopped and got more ff gravy and filled a ice tray up will put in baggies when they freeze.
I usually don’t stress out much anymore but this am for some reason I did, he usually goes up at +2 and he didn’t, his pmps number was lower than the +9 and his +1 was higher, crazy!

And I could not ever live with myself if I killed him, I always want him safe, but ur right, he will get back on track, it does get :banghead: cause u don’t want to give the HC but u want them safe and seems like u take them back a step, I can tell so much that he feels better when his BG is around 100 or a little lower
