Morning LL,

WCR Things have still not improved with Sara. She is peeing in other places besides the bathroom towel now. Sometimes it is a couple of feet away from the towel at her food bowl. This is exactly what she did just before I found out she had diabetes.

I took her back to the vet on friday because I did'nt want to wait till after this weekend. She took an xray, did'nt see any blockages. Took blood for a CBC, T4 and more urine. I think the clavomox just isn't doing the trick. Through all this though her #'s have been great. confused_cat She's going to call me monday. Should have the results by than.

I've certainly done more laundry than I ever have. :-|

Have'nt heard from my husband since tuesday. [in Africa]

Have a great sunday.

(((Jan))) I can only imagine how stressful it's been not hearing from your DH. I hope and pray you do hear from him soon.

And hopefully vet will have good news monday for results on Sara.

Jan: Hope you find out what is going on with Sara soon. That is so stressful. Also hope you hear from your husband. Two stressful situations. Keep you chin up. (HUGS)

Re: 7/4 Sara AM+2~88

Thanks Barbara and Ronnie. I hope I hear on both situations soon. Especially since the last time I talked to my husband he was'nt feeling that well. :? He said there was a lot of poverty were he was.

Keep you updated.

Nice AMPS for Sara...but as far as everything else goes == nailbite_smile
It is good that you took her to the vet...that was good thinking! Now, you will find out what is happening.
But I feel for you regarding your husband....I do hope he will be in touch with you today....this is upsetting...
Sending HUGS to you as you wait... :YMHUG:

You have two situations that must be causing a lot of worry. Take care of yourself, and I hope you hear from your husband soon and that the vet comes up with something that will help Sara.

Jan you have a lot of stress going on with not knowing what is causing Sara's urinary issues and not hearing from your DH sending (((HUGS))) for support hope things improve soon

Re: 7/4 Sara AM+5~96

Thanks Pat, Lisa and Ronnie. My husband was going to an area that does'nt have internet or use of a phone. I have to hope that is the reason I have'nt heard from him. It's just the waiting. :-|

It does sound like the Clavamox isn't doing the job although, how long has Sara been on the AB? If you take a look at Kasha's SS, she was on an AB for quite some time before her numbers started coming down (i.e., the AB started working). If this is an e. coli infection, you might want to replace your litter box(es). I don't know how resistant to cleaning the bacteria is but I would hate to have Sara get recontaminated because of the box.

I hope you hear from DH soon. With the time difference, calls get complicated.

Thanks Sienne for the tip on the LB. I would'nt want the other 3 to get contaminated either. Shes only been on it for almost 2 weeks now. I just thought I would see some improvement instead of worse. It also amazes me how good her #'s have been.
I"ll take a look at Kasha's ss.

Re: 7/4 Sara PMPS~120

I heard from Eric this afternoon. He's staying with a family and is trying to change his plane ticket to next sunday. I won't probley see him till the following wed because he is staying in NY the day he gets in. But it sure was good to hear his voice and that hes ok.

Thanks everyone for your support. Sometimes it just helps to talk about things. I did'nt want to tell my mother that he was in a scary situation. Did'nt want them to worry. I knew that I would get the support here that I needed.

:YMHUG:

I am so relieved to hear that you spoke with him! You can tell him when he gets home that all Sara's Aunties were worried SICK about him. Whew. Big sigh of relief!!!
So, now that we know he is okay....on to Sara.
I hope the vet can give you a different AB or otherwise put your mind to rest....
Hope you have a good night Jan...hope you are ok (and your foot) :YMHUG:
