We are going back to 6 percent for breakfast. Maybe that will make the drop a little slower?

324 @ +1.5. Fed 10g of 7.7

Dropped 76 between +1 and +1.5. Dropped another 65 between +1.5 and +2. Feeding 10g of 7.7 again.

Ok. I think tonight we might start with an 8 percent meal. This seems like a lot of steering. I am concerned that he might be too full to eat at a critical time. Or maybe it wouldn’t get critical if we fed higher carb. I can’t believe how affected he is by slight carb changes. Or maybe this is all an illusion, and we don’t have much to do with what’s happening with Merlin and insulin.

can’t believe how affected he is by slight carb changes.

It’s always good to know how your kitty reacts to carb % in food. Some cats are very sensitive and others are not.
