Good morning all and Happy Independence Day!

I had a moment today where I really wanted to see what Chicamonkey’s numbers looked like on the alphatrak that was donated to me, in comparison to the human ReliOn meter I use daily.

see the results below … I rechecked because I thought there was an error somewhere….

I think I’ll stick with my human meter

Interesting experiment. I've seen others do the same in lower numbers and showing the AT be both lower and higher.

Chickamonkey is looking awesome! Love the trend.

So glad to see you and Monkey back. I’ve been off a while so just catching up. I’m sorry for the dx but you have her looking fantastic! Your hard work has paid off.

We’ve long said not to even compare the two meters as there is no comparison. If you look at my Gracie’s SS, there is a tab with Micro & AT comparisons that I did just to show they can’t be compared. You are very correct and smart to pick one and stick with it.

We’ve long said not to even compare the two meters as there is no comparison. If you look at my Gracie’s SS, there is a tab with Micro & AT comparisons that I did just to show they can’t be compared. You are very correct and smart to pick one and stick with it.

I was sooooo stressed when we first started this journey. I made mistakes along the way thinking I had missed “the good dose” somewhere, and now wish I had listened to all of you with way more experience!
Trying no to beat myself up too much about it as it seems we’ve come to a great place as far as her numbers are concerned. I’d love to get to the point where she doesn’t need insulin BUT we ( hubby and I) are so happy to have Monkey feeling good again - even playing again!!!

Wow I did look at your comparison chart!
It seems like lower numbers show closer readings …. Higher numbers not so much
