Not quite green today, but Trix seems to be feeling really good these days (huge anti-jinx)....appy is strong (MamaBean still holds the plate), energy is great, eyes are bright, she's all kinds of snuggly, her fur is silky soft again, and even when she has higher "PS" numbers, she brings it down completely on her own. Crazy version of OTJ, Trix! Last night, I was walking up the stairs next to her and she broke out into a trot that was bordering on a run - she was racing me! Very cute.
I honestly can't even remember if I updated in Trix's condo last night, but I did convince my Dad to call Penn today to get an appointment with their pancreatic cancer team. This will be much better than the local doctor who seems very good, but also very "general" in his knowledge, and we need a specialist right now. It's still about as bad as it can get, but I feel like this might give us a fighting chance. I always feel much better after I actually see my Dad, because when you see him, you'd never guess in a million years that anything was wrong, much less what he's got going on. And he doesn't feel it, either.
As I've mentioned before, I have been checking on everyone, and thinking about and praying for everyone here...I have not forgotten my LL family. I thank you for all your support and prayers....
