damn, bob, i feel for you. have you noticed a difference since you started him back on the drops? hoping he's back to nice numbers again soon. he had such a nice run of low numbers a while back.
His numbers have been bad for a while now. This is the third round of trying to clear the ear infection. He gets the drops for 10 days and it seems to clear up and then after a week or so it starts to slowly come back and get worse and worse. His numbers spiked up and stayed up as soon as I started the ear drops. He will be getting them until Tuesday then he will go off of them and hopefully the numbers will start to drop and the ear infection will be gone for good this time. If things don't get better soon I guess I will have no choice than to go back to the vets and see what they think. It is sad that we went from .25 unit twice a day back up to 4.50 twice a day now and it looks like there could be even more dosecreases in the future. I am going to ask about switching insulin if they have no other ideas. The weird thing is he acts 100% completely normal. No different than he acted when the numbers were good.
