I just gave her the gravy from a FF gravy can and just followed that with a pate snack. She is acting normally!.

Deb, can you get any tests in, in the pm cycle? Only 1 in the last 6 days, and she could be dropping low during the night. Cats often do.

It is but it takes a little time to break down and get into the bloodstream. The simple sugars like syrup, honey and Karo get into the bloodstream faster but they also wear off faster

Yes, I would give her a teaspoon of that with the gravy.
Any not used, freeze for further use. That what I used to do for Sheba so I didn’t have so much wastage. Just mark the container with the number of carbs on it.
ETA…if you are just about to test…do that first to see what the BGis before giving the HC food.

She was going to bounce no matter what!...LOL Bounces happen from 1. dropping too low, 2. dropping too fast, 3. dropping into numbers her body isn't used to anymore (or any combination of all 3)

I think we can tick off reason 1, 2 and 3!

Possibly, but at least she is at a safe number now and the gravy will wear off.
You can remove the 911 now if you don’t mind.

I was responding to her request in the same line to update the subject line. No one can fix the SS but you unless you give them editing rights.

This is what stacking looks like:

You will have to manually color both SS with the appropriate color. All tests taken between +6 and +7 should be in the +6 cell and those taken starting at +7 to +8 will be stacked in the +7 cell.

Yes. The dose would be 1.5U. Dosing is not based on preshots but based on nadirs. How low a dose takes the BG.

If she drops below 50 (2.8) on a dose, that means it's too much for her.

Sorry only just saw this, fell asleep on sofa, bad night last night. Will test soon before we go to bed. I’ve noticed that she has returned to her old habit of not finishing dinner straight away, then going back and finishing it 3-4 hours later!
