Yesterday: flat pink then a breakthrough?
Good morning!
Up early this morning
DH plays golf on Thursdays and I have a cake smash/tub session starting at 10:00 (+2) that I have to set up for. t/f/s is in 1.25 hours
Boomer decided to work the juice during the PM cycle and dropped 133 points by +3. My plan was to test him again during the night but I didn't set an alarm because I've been sleeping lousy and figured I would wake up. Of course I didn't
. So I'm writing this before t/f/s and I'm anxious to see if he starts any lower today.
I do believe that I will start the new insulin tomorrow regardless of what he does today; the old bottle is almost 6 months old so I might as well start a new pen (cartridge) while he is still in higher (safe) numbers.
Yesterday DH and I went out for a bit in the afternoon; Boomer gave us permission and I felt the need to get away from things for a bit. We just headed to a local park but on the way stopped at a place where there are always deer hanging around.....I knew there would be fawns. It was the middle of the afternoon and hot and humid so, on the upside, the deer were just laying around and didn't care to move when I came near (I don't have to get too close with my big-ass lens) but on the downside there weren't many out so the others must have been hiding in the wooded areas. Luckily there was one baby laying by itself! I call this one "Oh What Big Ears You Have" lol. Enjoy!
