This is Spikes nadir so its safe for me to shoot, he'll be going up from here. All P's in place and hes looking forward to a nice dry day although hot.

ot..this is very interesting..
27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for.............

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will cultivate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles off earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons.

The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

I'll be on the lookout too Janice. My brother is always sending me interesting things to check out in the sky. It's very interesting. I hope its a clear night.

and nice info about Mars.... i better check it out this time because I think by the time 2287 comes around I will have so many wrinkles I won't be able to see anything in the sky! :lol:
