Yesterday http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=75739 was too really nice preshot numbers followed by higher middles. :roll:

Today we start high and are heading down - that's more like it. I knew Neko was higher this morning because she joined Theo's morning kitty chorus. Neko had her first round of play in just now and headed over to DH's lap. She likes to knead before settling down, and he's discovered why I said we need to trim her toenails. :twisted: :lol:

Another glorious sunny day here - but more errands to do after nadir. I've got to get the car checked out before heading to CSU, might need back brake pads done soon. That probably means heading over to Thomas Haas Chocolatier to kill time while they look at the car. :-D

But I have to admit that I laughed out loud. Poor DH. And, yes, definitely need a visit to the Chocolatier. You need to salvage potentially wasted time with something useful. :lol:

For the first time EVER in Neko's life in my house, she got some Fancy Feast - grilled Tuna and Gravy. Gotta stop this slide as I have to leave in a bit to pick up the car. I'll test before I go and shouldn't be gone more than 25 minutes. Gotta call the dealership and see if they are open later. Sigh.

@Liz, DH didn't want to stop at the chocolatier so it'll have to be another time.

@Ann, the slide was nice, but I'm OK with her going up now!

Up a bit and the car dealership sales office closes in an hour and a half so I can wait a bit and see how Neko is doing. She's had no food other than freeze dried chicken since +8.

Come on Neko, up a little bit more please - gotta get the car soon. She had another tsp gravy at +9 and her usual no carb snack at +9.5 (piece of chicken neck this time).

wouldn't you know she'd do that when you have to leave? but what a wonderful time in the green lagoon for her!

i'm sure you've got lots of little things to do before you take off for CSU. a little chocolate in the car would be awesome. it can sit in the cooler and help the insulin stay cool. :lol:

Came up enough to get the car. And DH is getting cream so I can make home made raspberry ice cream tonight. Much needed today! And the raspberry bushes are full to bursting.

@Julie - didn't have time enough to get chocolate today. It'll have to wait for another day. I had to do with trail mix today for today's test a thon. I think Neko might have gone below 50 if I hadn't given her the 2 tsp of gravy at +8. It took her up 15 points 1/2 hr later, but then she dropped to 57 1/2 hour after that. Deductions don't really make sense for her right now, and you are right - so much to do before I go.

I was surprised to see such a slow rise to PMPS. A bit of a jump to +2, but she just burned off some energy catching the big brown moth that made the mistake of coming into the kitchen. I haven't seen her move that fast inside the house for a while. Poor Theo, he had his eye on it too and she always gets everything first! :sad:
