She ate just under 1 1/2 Tbsp FF breakfast. I think she just got tired of trying to eat when it kept seeming to trigger sneezes...:(

I may buy and cook her some chicken today to see if that helps... the type of food doesn't seem to matter, but I'll give it a try anyway.

She ate 1-2 tsp snack just before +9 - ate it all up and practically licked the bowl clean. She didn't sneeze then but she did "almost sneeze" and then she'd pause and you could see her licking or just acting like she was dislodging food stuck up in gums or something. I don't know how to describe it, but I'm so tired I can't even try beyond that. Suffice it to say, she ate her whole snack.

Blue didn't eat much at all for bf this AM... but he did play with some of the new toys I got them at the cat show... These little multi-colored tubes and you push them down to compress them and then let them go and they fly quite a distance. Blue can't keep up with them if they fly far, but he just like playing with them within about a foot or 2... I think he doesn't see as well now.

Going btb now.

Hi Krys,
Oh gosh; I'm sorry to hear Kasha is still having the sneezes or almost when she eats. I'm glad Blue likes his new toys. How was the cat show? Maggie got me up at 1 am for a snack, so I'm so sleepy, too! Catch up later!

Nice AMPS for Kasha. Poor thing having to sneeze while eating. I don't blame her for giving up. I hope you find a solution or it just stops on its own...soon! Cute description of Blue and his new toys. They sound like fun! And good exercise for beans.

oooh, you met Cheri and Louis yesterday? I miss her so much. I thought she was in Chicago but maybe I'm remembering wrong or maybe she moved. I hope she comes back, boy that lady carries a lot of knowledge around in her head!

I hope you can get to the bottom of the sneezes. How frustrating that the normal solutions aren't working.

Cheri is in Chicago - she just came to the Cleveland area for a cat show, far as I know... She was talking about the bad weather and traffic delays coming from Chicago, I think...
 
Little girl is not feeling well.

She ate a snack around +9.5... I tried some Sophisticat and she basically licked all the juice out of it and left the "meat". So, I put out a spoonful of Ff turkey and giblets and she ate it all. But when I got home, someone had vomited - very odd, they don't vomit very often... I'm wondering if the Sophisticat upset Kasha's (?) stomach? She's never had it before. I'm guessing it was Kasha because she didn't want to eat dinner - I think she ended up eating around 1 Tbsp... if that. And she was the only one who had food in her stomach to vomit cuz Blue didn't seem to care about snacktime...

Poor girl... she's feeling blah...

I forgot to mention, when I gave her shot this morning she pulled away abruptly while the needle was in her! It was odd - I don't think it had to do with any discomfort from the needle, she just decided to move away... but it bent the needle - how creepy is that? Tonight when I gave her shot, I ended up stabbing my finger with the needle. After she got the injection. Ouch.

I bought the BD 33 gauge lancets. So far so good.

I hope my little girl perks up.
 
I'm so sorry you and Kasha are going through such a rough time. I am excited to hear that you ran into Cheri. She's an oldbie who is very much missed here. I am sending healing vines to Kasha, and I hope that things get better for you both.
 
Well... so far, so good. She was lying on the stairs, looking down to the downstairs front porch (I left the door down there open). I put her food bowl in front of her and she was munching away until the sneezes started. I think by now (+1) she's probaby eaten about what she'd normally eat at meal time... So... here's hoping she keeps it down!

I'd like to give her some squids, but a kid stopped by while I was watering my veggies and asked if he could mow my lawn for $10... I started to say no, and then thought... duh, I don't want to mow the lawn! So, he and one of his friends or sibling are down there playing with machinery with blades and gasoline and things that make me a little uncomfortable (I own an electric lawnmower for my tiny lawn)... but at least he's being industrious... Unless he wants the money for drugs... he seems pretty young for that, but you never know. His friend has a mullet haircut and a tail (he must be all of 9 yrs old, if that).

Anyway, I don't want to start the squids (all 1- 2 minutes of it) and have to interrupt because the kid finishes that lawn and wants his money...

Edit: BTW, my lawn is scalped! LOL! Well, it was too long anyway...
