Hi Lantus Land!
Yesterday's HX: Tigger got a 35 min. early dose (due to Spankey's surgery) yesterday AM, & stayed in the high 200-low 300's all AM cycle. We shot 5 min. early for the Pm shot. His PM +1 was 222, & he just sailed into blue & EVEN touched GREEN momentarily before going back to low blue. Looks like he's had a good 8 hours in healing colors for the first time since his dx 5/15!!!! flip_cat flip_cat flip_cat
First time he hasn't bounced (yet), too, so maybe he's getting used to the drops? Even though we've been high & level the last few cycles, maybe we were adding to the depot - Tigger's numbers aren't bouncing into the 400's as previously.
Tigger's +10= 129; +11 = 154, so we may zoom up in the next .75.
Since this may be my first blue shoot, I just want to check that we're right on shooting the full 2.0 units? His +1 & +1 usually seem to be lower than the PS, or a small amount higher, so I think he has a good overlap.
PS: Spankey, Tigger & I want to thank EVERYONE for all the support & kindness touching in re. Tigger's brother Spankey. He had a rough start in surgery yesterday (just before leaving I was feeding Tigger for his insulin & 3 y/o Grandson, looking for Ga-Ga, let Spankey in the room. Spankey promptly ate Tigger's food; we found him standing over the empty bowl licking his chops. Gulp! Luckily, The specialist said they could still do the surgery- they gave him an anti-emetic & aspirated his stomach. The results - a large foxtail entered his mouth below the tongue, traveled along the jawline, down the neck, crossing over to the other side & coming up at the shoulder. Luckily there was NO fungus as they had feared, & no other weird stuff in the goopus!!! The surgery ended up being half the cost, too, as a result!!! Our vet was v. apologetic that something so weird in presentation turned out to be so simple. We're actually really glad about that, considering what it could've been!) So we have a Franken-kitty with a large drain tube wearing baby t-shirts running around a little hyper due to the pain meds - but on the mend! Thanks for all the healing vines - I know it all helped! :RAHCAT :RAHCAT
ALL GOOD NEWS SO FAR FROM OUR HOUSE!
