Yesterday's Condo
I really am trying to get a condo done during the day, but circumstances always seem to conspire against me. Today was another long day.
Cinco surfed yellow again today. I guess we'll see what tomorrow brings, and if China can't lure him down to the lagoon, we'll have to do the full .25 dosecrease to 1.5. Tomorrow is another check up at the OV. I'll be interested to hear what he has to say. I am also going to make an appointment at UCD Oncology for his follow up. He is eating well and everything seems to be good with him. I just want some better numbers. Call me a greedy bean. I guess I should be grateful he's staying safe and uneventful while my time is consumed with Sasha, but I want it all!
Sasha has been congested the past couple of days - in her chest more than upper respiratory. The doctors don't seem to be concerned about it, but I don't like it. We're in the bathroom now, doing a 30-45 minute steam session. You know I must love my cats to do this - I HATE to sweat!
She is otherwise doing well. Eating normally, etc. The doctors are pleased. One week to go of radiation, then we'll see if she needs chemo.
I saw my podiatrist today and he took out the wire!! YAY! No more crutches. However, the skin on the toe was a bit moist, and he didn't like that . I assured him I did not get it wet - must be sweat or condesation. Anyway, he slathered it with anti-bacterial stuff and bandaged it back up and I have to keep it dry for another week. So no stand up shower yet. I also have to wear my fashionable surgical shoe for two more weeks and no aerobics or anything strenuous. The knee scooter is paid for until Aug 1, so I decided to keep it in case I want to go to the State Fair or the mall or something. Still, I'm delighted that I can climb the stairs normally and walk around instead of hopping or crawling! My knees are very grateful.
Sasha is not appreciating the fact that I am using my hands on the keyboard instead of petting her, so I will indulge her now.
Sending healing vines to all in need, especially J.D., Lucy, and Simon, and hugs to all their beans, especially Dyana, Mariko and Georgia. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
