Yesterday's Condo

I really am trying to get a condo done during the day, but circumstances always seem to conspire against me. Today was another long day.

Cinco surfed yellow again today. I guess we'll see what tomorrow brings, and if China can't lure him down to the lagoon, we'll have to do the full .25 dosecrease to 1.5. Tomorrow is another check up at the OV. I'll be interested to hear what he has to say. I am also going to make an appointment at UCD Oncology for his follow up. He is eating well and everything seems to be good with him. I just want some better numbers. Call me a greedy bean. I guess I should be grateful he's staying safe and uneventful while my time is consumed with Sasha, but I want it all!

Sasha has been congested the past couple of days - in her chest more than upper respiratory. The doctors don't seem to be concerned about it, but I don't like it. We're in the bathroom now, doing a 30-45 minute steam session. You know I must love my cats to do this - I HATE to sweat!

She is otherwise doing well. Eating normally, etc. The doctors are pleased. One week to go of radiation, then we'll see if she needs chemo.

I saw my podiatrist today and he took out the wire!! YAY! No more crutches. However, the skin on the toe was a bit moist, and he didn't like that . I assured him I did not get it wet - must be sweat or condesation. Anyway, he slathered it with anti-bacterial stuff and bandaged it back up and I have to keep it dry for another week. So no stand up shower yet. I also have to wear my fashionable surgical shoe for two more weeks and no aerobics or anything strenuous. The knee scooter is paid for until Aug 1, so I decided to keep it in case I want to go to the State Fair or the mall or something. Still, I'm delighted that I can climb the stairs normally and walk around instead of hopping or crawling! My knees are very grateful.

Sasha is not appreciating the fact that I am using my hands on the keyboard instead of petting her, so I will indulge her now.

Sending healing vines to all in need, especially J.D., Lucy, and Simon, and hugs to all their beans, especially Dyana, Mariko and Georgia. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

I'm glad you were able to get the wire out of your toe. How great you can walk up the stairs now. I hope it continues to heal well. I hope Cinco's OV appointment goes well today and Sasha's congestion clears up soon. Sending prayers for Sasha and hugs to you. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Hey Cinco buddy!! I've missed you! Got something new to show you so try really hard to meet me later (you know where)...and don't tell the beans!~ China

Great that you got that wire out Tricia! I'm sure it'll make your life a lot easier to be able to get up off your knees!

At least you still have several months of summertime fun left to enjoy!

Hope Sasha is feeling better today and Cinco's appointment went well today

I'm glad the wire is out and you can walk better now:) Are your hands feeling ok too after those shots? I hope that Cinco gives you a nice, easy (low blue?) day, maybe a hint of lagoon splashing? And that the OV appt goes good, I will be checking later to see.

I hope Sasha is doing better today with her congestion, I'm so glad to hear that her radiation is doing well and the drs are pleased! I hate sweating too, so kudos to you! And I'm sure I'd do the same, lol. (actually, I have had the humidifier cranked even when it was hot out to help my kitties in the past so...yep, crazy cat ladies, hee hee). Many hugs to you and scritches to the fur babies:) Have a good one!

Yea for the wires coming out. My poor mom won't be able to get them out of her finger and likely won't be able to bend her finger but she doesn't know it yet.

I've been looking for a Sasha update? How's the recovery coming? At a comfortable new normal yet? How much longer to go with the radiation and is that going well?

Yay for no wire!! You are getting there....phew!!!

I hope Sasha's congestion has cleared up. She definitely could have picked something up at the vetty's office, or even with the catsitter last weekend....she's been exposed to a lot of other kitty germs during her treatment. Sending easy breathing vines her way!

I also hope all went perfectly at the OV, and that Cinco works his doscrease!!

Good riddance to that wire! And sending no infection vines, just to be safe. Vines for Sasha too, she is such a sweetheart and one tough kitty. :-D
