7/23 Tuscany mid 200's

I'm sneaking on the computer. DBIL here - I'm supposed to be doing a fax. I know some of you are starting to worry when I haven't posted. Tuscany -status quo the last few days. It is just very hard to watch her walk. Her appetite is staying very good. Sugars aren't coming down very well - sometimes mid 100's but I am being very liberal with her food. I did just increase her dose to 1.75. Last two nights she did get up and walk over to dining table to beg for hand outs. And yes, handouts she did get. She gets excited when the whipped cream comes out - well - as excited as an old tortie that is stoned on bupe gets - but we can tell cause she grabs for the can.... Bupe , I think is making her more comfortable - still on a low dose of like .04 twice a day. She really doesn't seemed stoned - just sleeps a little deeper I think.

So may not see me til Monday pm - SS is not up to date. Waiting for Helen and the SS police to bust me for that but it is what it is..... Hope you all have a good weekend.

So glad you are helping Tuscany with her whipped cream addiction! :-D She deserves every last lick.
 
Thanks for the update! Like Sienne said, what's a little whipped cream and bupe between friends? Oh - yeah... she just mentioned the whipped cream...
 
That whipped cream between friends is starting to sound a little kinky... :shock:

Glad to hear the bupe is helping and that Tuscany is indulging in some fun treats! I'm glad her appetite is good. Keep spoiling and enjoying your girl.
 
Oh, whipped cream! Stu loves whipped cream (and ice cream) and gets frustrated when he is pushed away from our plates. He also goes wild for butter (he is allowed a tiny piece on weekends). It's good that Tuscany is doing well on the bupe and that she has enjoyable things--like whipped cream-- to engage her. Hope she'll feel well enough to come to the Full Thunder Moon Party on Monday. She'll get a nice center-row seat from which she can enjoy the food and watch the moon. All the kitties will want to hang out with her. Enjoy your weekend with the family, Joyce.
