WCR well he is doing fine bumps on ears still not very good did not hear bk from vet yesterday but it was his off day and I ended up having to call in today with another I cannot function migraine sigh..... I hate missing since I so not work much anyway due to this problem Oh well. All P's in place for Do Lou this morning did not like starting out pink

well at least do lou is down to yellow already ... I hope he comes down slowly for you today .... and that your migraine goes away soon.

Our civvie twix get's bumps on her ears too, they are small and hard about the size of a pimple but as far as we can tell, theres nothing to squeeze out of them. They make her ears look beat red from the inside out (outside of ears are dark, inside are light) and they itch like crazy. She loves it when we rub them for her cause I think her nails hurt her ears. She has had these for several years and both vets she has gone to said they are allergy related.

yes this sounds exactly like the kind of bumps Do Lou has right now and I am sure its just allergy related but its frustrating not to be able to really help him much with the itching since before it was always steroids that I used and anyway they do look a wee bit better today after the bath the other day so hoping they keep improving as long as he does not keep scratching at them

Do Lou is headed in the right direction at least! Here's hoping he breezes through yellow and settles in blue. :-D I hope his ears get better soon, too. Poor guy. Maybe going to Stu's today will help him heal... ;-)

Nice to see DoLou coming down, but sorry about the migraine.

Do you put anything on his ears to sooth them after testing? I add Vitamin E oil to the Neosporin. It helps to heal from the pricks and would help Do Lou to heal. Not sure what natural products might be good for cats for the itching itself. It could be a vicious cycle Allergies cause itching, causes scratching, causes more itching, more scratching .....

oh twix would NEVER allow us to give her a bath! She barely let's us close enough to touch her .. We took twix to the vet when she first developed them several years ago, and she got a steroid shot. We never really took her back after that because they seem to come and go but now she's got this whole other thing going on with mouth ulcers and I asked the vet yesterday if they were connected to the ear bumps and she said yes, all allergy related. Of course as you know, treatment was a steroid shot. She seems to average about three of those a year now and usually all back to back month wise ... It makes me sick to think of her getting the steroid shots, if it wasn't for those ulcers on her mouth we would leave her ears be, but we can't so she gets the shots.
