After yesterday's nice run of the blues, either Neko is in a nice long bounce, or this dose is getting stale. I'll give her another cycle at this dose to sort it out, but we might be going up in the morning. I still have to figure out by how much. I can hardly wait for SRT! After overdoing it rowing this morning (13k in a single scull), I've been spending the day doing acro research and planning the trip. I would like to get Rescue Remedy for Pets, but apparently they don't sell it in Canada because of one of the ingredients - but it's OK to have a version with alcohol in it for pets. Go figure!

Neko had a couple of yard patrols before breakfast, which is unusual because usual fuds is usually the first order of business. She is still CPC of course. She's been spending a couple of hours snoozing in basket in the solarium.

Sorry for not replying to all the kind folks who stopped by the condo yesterday, but by the time I was ready to post last night, the board was not!

i could see either a .25u or .5u increase, wendy - so maybe what you feel comfy with and whether or not you're around to monitor. when you increased from 8 to 8.25, she'd had a nice run of blues, then a pink amps with the increase, and then she immediately saw greens with the increase.

when you went from 8.25 to 8.5, it took 4 cycles before she went into greens.

that's not really advice, i'm just observing what happened in the recent dose changes. it doesn't really look like this is bouncing to me . . . i could make a case either way, but if it were me, i might lean towards .5u if i were going to be around. and a side benefit is it puts the dose on the syringe line! we all love that! :lol: i think you're right, though, i think the dose has "gone stale." awesome little phrase! she's ready for a change. perhaps a little radiation will be right up her alley! ;-)

Good luck with the dosecrease. I have no experience with acro kitties, no clue what to tell you. Julie's advice sounds good. Sounds like you have decided to do the SRT. YAY! I wish you guys much luck with it. And I can't believe the recuse remedy thing an it's equivalent. WOW, and go figure!

The rowing sounds great - impressive with the 13K. Nice! :-D :cool: :cool:

Blech! Up .5 tomorrow morning it is!

@Julie - the ugly reds are back so .5 tomorrow it is. I'm away for a couple of hours in the AM (+2 to +4) but will otherwise be around. Little miss shows action a little later and the autofeeder will take care of the rest while I'm gone. Now that I've got dates in mind (I'll call tomorrow AM to reserve), I'm impatient to get going!

@Michelle - Neko temporarily (I hope) changed into a slightly darker outfit. Neko and I will have a talk - she may think it matches the huckleberry pie, but I think the pies are really pinker rather than red. I'm rather new at thinking of Neko as an acro cat, although she has been all along. I just have to adjust my goals and doses a bit.
