going to try incorporating some of the bebe food today.. its been ok tho w his food (?).. experimenting w different ways to get meds in.. want to get better at pilling and its nice if theres transdermal/injectables (Ondansetron is one ))..
not sure how it’d work tho w his Mirtaz.. ugh.

using the syringe method works great for some things but them bitter pills…. ugh

im afraid hes just wasting away.. hes gotten pretty skinny.. trying to get food in..

Thanks for the update, Yasmin. Glad the syringe feeding is going well, Pudge is such a champ!
Good luck with the baby food, I hope he likes it and wants to eat more.

Leroy is just bones so I understand He still has p-itis and it's been flaring up bad lately so he's not eating much either. He can eat on his own with lots of toppers and coaxing and patience. The only pill I can't crush up is the budesonside (it's plastic-like) so I try to hide it in a meatball or inside of a freeze dried minnow.

sigh. its hard to see.. trying to feed him enough but dont want to put him off food too.. i been offering food for him to eat himself but so far i been needing to help him.. gonna try the baby food today.. my only thing is that i dont want his stomach upset at all.. esp since, maybe this is bad, but he is liking sitting in his box at the moment. (Its paper litter.. changed it just in the nick of time i guess..)
