Ok - she only ate about 1 Tbsp FF. More sneezes - sneezed till her eyes teared a little - no eye gunk or anything though. I'm still wiping some mucus from her nose once or twice a day, but it's considerably less than it was at the beginning, so I'm hoping that's a good sign. Eating seems to trigger the sneezes - no matter what she eats - which takes me back to the idea it's dental-related. 15 days till the dental is scheduled...

Definitely not affecting her sense of smell. The little bloodhound will come in from the front porch - or anywhere in the house - if I even attempt to eat anything she hasn't checked out first.

Otherwise, all seems typical. We played chase the ball last night, for the first time in probably years. Very cute. Also played the usual attack-my-hand.

Kasha decided we should go to bed a little early last night, so we did. I read for a while in bed, but then still got just a tiny bit more sleep than I have averaged lately. It was still tough to get up for her +9 snack. And again for her shot. But... I did.

nice blue to start Kasha's day.
I feel bad for all her sneezing but she seems to be in good spirits and playing is always a great sign.

Re: 7/19 Kasha AMPS 119

It will be interesting to see if the dental improves the sneezes...makes total sense to me too. If her gums are inflamed, why wouldn't it make other parts in her head inflamed.

Wishing you a happy Monday Krys!

I took her PMPS 3 times - I had a lot of trouble getting a drop of blood and didn't trust the first 2 readings (109 and 113). So, I just chose the lowest one, which just happened to be the only one I got from a full drop of blood. Poor Kasha - she's so patient. That's not a word I ever thought I'd use for her!

More sneezes while eating... She ate well - almost 2 Tbsp FF Chopped Grill. All the food (including the food in the autofeeder) was gone when I got home. When she sneezed she spent a few minutes kind of licking, almost like she was trying to get food that was stuck up in her gums or something... Another bit of info that makes me think it's dental-related.

We finished the A/B (Cefa drops) yesterday.

She's walking around kind of sniffing right now - which she only does when I have food... Oh wait... I wonder... I didn't have time to wash out a soup container at work and I brought it home to wash and recycle. Is it possible that she can smell that????

She sure seems to be in good spirits and isn't hurting., or her BG would show it.
Bloodhound, LOL, she doesn't have the big floppy ears.

So did you get that BIG piece of cake yet? ;-)

Very cruel, Myla - I have NOT yet gotten the BIG piece of cake yet! My back felt better, so I didn't go to my chiro. And, luckily for me, I wasn't craving chocolate cake (I have a very specific cake craving!) or that pic might have pushed me over the edge!

I'm so hungry... I'm craving Chinese food, but I don't know of any good Chinese restaurants near my house... The one we liked was near my (ex) BF's house... :(

Very nice numbers for Kasha.
Any chance she is allergic to the food or the bowl since she sneezes after she eats?

I just gained 10 pounds looking at that chocolate cake....yum.

I've tried other food - she even sneezed when I fed her bits of my bison burger from my hands! The only bowls we have are ceramic, stainless steel or glass - all ones we've had for years. And she's an equal-opportunity sneezer... Doesn't seem to matter what food or what bowl... She definitely has issues with food seeming to be "stuck" in her mouth sometimes and then she works on it for a while to get everything in place...

I'm off to try a new Chinese place... I think. I'll decide when I get there.
