Well first off, thank you everyone for the support yesterday. It really meant alot to me! And I'm back on my game today!
The High LC seemed to do the trick to stop the vicious bounce cycle she couldn't get out of, at least for today.
I'm going to have to experiment with the amounts as the 2 larger meals at PS & +1 seem to be too much for her to eat in a short time and then she ends up really hungry at +6. So I might switch back to the larger meals at PS and +3 with the smaller meals at +1 and +2. But I'm thinking I'll make the PS and +1 meal closer to 10% and the other two stay at the 6-8% range. Idk, I'm just throwing things at the wall and hoping they stick at this point.
On another note, my fiancé (Austin) sat down with me yesterday because I think he saw how much this is all taking a toll on me (I'm really good at pushing through when I'm struggling so I don't blame him for thinking I was handling it like a champ). He wants to help with testing and shooting insulin more and I need to learn to let him help me and let go of some of the control. We are going to start with him shadowing me with Khloe for a few days to get a gist of the routine, then he's going to spend a few days doing it himself with me supervising. Then once we both feel confident, he's going to take over Saturdays for me so I can sleep in and have a day to myself. I used to spend days before FD where all I did was camp in my art room and hyper focus on a project, and I think I need one of those days back. The future looks bright
I hope everyone has the best day they can possibly have!
