Good morning LL,
I gave the cats raw chicken chunks for dinner last night and breakfast this morning. They have both eaten raw chicken all their lives. It's both of their favourites. I believe Angie ate hers last night but I didn't see her finish it so it's possible that Jetzin got the rest.
This morning Angie refused her +9/3 am breakfast. I tried to hand feed her but she kept spitting out the chunks or just licking them. I broke them into little pieces and she eventually ate it all by licking them off my fingers.
I cut up her am/6 am breakfast so that she wouldn't have to chew much but she won't eat it.
Now I'm thinking that her teeth might be the issue. Could a sore tooth make her drink more? The very said she had some ? on her teeth but they weren't bad and he didn't think they needed a clean yet. She does have bad breath though. She's never had a dental. Her teeth have always been good before but she is almost 17.
Last night I asked if we could start an OTJ trial. If she won't eat, I'm skipping again this morning. Any thoughts on that trial for this evening?
Yesterday's condo is here.
Thank you Rhiannon, Devon, Jane and Michelle for your visits yesterday. I'll reply to you later this morning after I go back to beef for a bit.
