7/16 Jake is gone

(((Lydia))) My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am sorry for your loss but happy that Jake went to the bridge from home surrounded by love and his surroundings. Could not be a greater gift.

So sorry for the loss of your sweet Jake, Lydia. What a beautiful tribute to him. It sounds like you had a very special relationship and lots of fun together. How sweet that Chocolate laid with him...a true friend. Hugs to you all.

Oh, Lydia, I am so sorry to hear this. Such a sweet orange boy. Your tribute was lovely. I hope time will ease your painful heart. Such a special boy will be so missed, but his spirit will always live on in your heart.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Jake sounds like a very special kitty, and I know he will be missed so much. Take the time to remember him how he was, and grieve like you need to, with no timeline.

I'm so sorry to see that your sweet boy Jake has left. What a peaceful way to go - he made the decision so that no one else would have to and just went to sleep. And before that, he was in your arms being loved by his special person - can't ask for any more than that.

What a wonderful job you've done with him - 8 years is a long time - and all of us know what you mean. Our lives revolve around these sugar kitties doing the sugar dance with them. The ups and downs are difficult but you gave him so many more years than he would have had without your love. That doesn't make his leaving any less difficult - but at least you were able to keep him with you and give him all the love (and cheddar popcorn).

My heart goes out to you in your sadness - I'm so sorry - and I'm sending lots and lots of comforting prayers - hopes that the wonderful love and memories you shared will help to ease your grief and fill the hole left in your life and heart.
