Sorry I didnt check in sooner. We are just having a really tough day over here.
Its also back to work tomorrow and wondering if she is going to make it through the unfamiliar surroundings, noise, heat, etc. The last 24hrs has proven she is a potential danger to herself, if left alone however.

Tomorrow is her designated 18th b-day.

I can't wait until her birthday party.
I think you can ask to put the AC on for Latte tomorrow, while she is at work with you. The worse they can say is "no".
Is there an extra bathroom that she can stay in?
 
I can imagine your worrying about the heat if she is not used to it I would go ahead and ask too, hope tonight and tomorrow goes ok for you and Latte I will be thinking of you 2 while I am at work

The air conditioning might keep her more comfy and less prone to try something, eeek. Big hugs to you and Latte.

We are thinking about you guys as well ... we know you are doing the best taking care of latte, and we know latte is trying her best to get better. Hopefully tomorrow is not to overwhelming for her ...

Hi Carolyn, If you don't ask for the a/c they might not think of it, since they don't use it themselves. Latte's health is such that needs it; how could they refuse a request like that? In any event, go prepared with a cooler full of freezer blocks and towels to help keep her cool.

So sorry to hear that today was a tough one. Maybe that means that tomorrow will be better. We will be thinking of you and hoping that all will go smoothly.
Happy Birthday-Eve, Latte! Stu is going to cook you something extra-special for your birthday tomorrow. It's a surprise. And we both want you to have a wonderful birthday present: many really good days ahead for you and your remarkable mamabean.

Maybe, just in case, you could freeze some water in some tupperware-like containers to take with you tomorrow.
I think if you asked if you could turn on the air conditioner, and then said quietly that then you wouldn't have to check her as often, maybe they would appreciate that. Good luck tomorrow. Please keep us updated, cause we all want to wish Latte a Happy Birthday :mrgreen: I hope she gets some of her favorite special treats, even if only a couple :mrgreen:
 
Carolyn - I was trying to catch up on old posts - I am sorry to see that Latte is having such a tough time. I hope she is getting around a little better. Wishing Latte a good birthday. Going to send a pm with bupe questions - have finally started tuscany on it...
