Well, well well....Maki is doing great. Her numbers are all in range and only testing a few times a week now. Have not needed any insulin for a week now.
We think she actually ate something since her numbers suddenly went high, she was so listless, and at the time no amount of insulin was 'controlling' her numbers. So we guardians are watching more closely anything we leave out (chemicals, medicine, food, drinks, etc).
She's been back for a follow up and all is well with her numbers. We brought our first floor kitty in for ear mites/infection and she is improving also. Hoping to reintroduce second floor kitty (Maki) and first floor kitty (TC = The Cat) in August.
