Good Morning LL ~O) ~O)

Ok...bummer this morning with this crappy pink ohmygod_smile I went ahead and shot 1.25U. Hope this works today. If not then it looks like I'll have to
get rid of this vile and get a new batch  I'm not sure why she's up that high.
I was wondering if anyone new off the top of their head "how many carbs should she have in one day"? I know we are to keep under 10 carbs. I have been keeping her under 4 carbs per can.
But I'm thinking I may be doing this wrong. What I want to do is figure out how many she's allowed in one day then divide her food accordingly.
I'm having problems with Gotti too, he so hates this healthy eating  and has lost weight over that last few months. By no means is he skinny, he's probably
perfect right now :-D The two are related and I just don't want him becoming FD, but he can be relentless when he won't eat :? just walks away, turns his nose. I figure if he's hungry
enough he'll eat.

Doodles report:
All kids are fed and happy! The girls got their usual, apples, carrots and hay this morning. Misy and Milo are happy they got Gotti's food he wouldn't eat :-D and Doodles was starving. It
seems she's hungry all the time. That girl can put some food away.

Good grief she was a busy girl last night! She found a flying brown beetle and had a blast  she chased that thing all over the house! She was up all hours of the night chasing it
I found it in the kitchen this morning dead of course, it started up stairs on the balcony
She has already headed to ther "dove blind" and ready for her day to start. Gotti is out on the other patio I-) I-) on the couch. He loves that old couch me too

Lets hope with her .25 increase today she'll have better numbers. Since she is the queen right now of yellows

It's a great day here, the windows are open, the fans on and looks like we'll get into the 70's today whoo hoo! Would love to take a walk on the beach today :-D Maybe this afternoon.

Re: 7/13 Doodles amps 365

great report ... good luck with the dose increase .... isn't it funny how much fun these cats have with bugs? I remember once when twix was a kitten, she saw a fly in the house and started chasing it ... we didn't know at the time that it was a fly, until we caught her catching the little guy ... and then before we knew it, GULP! She ate the fly whole! We picked her up and could HEAR it in her tummy buzzing around

Hi there!

If you are still on the same vial of juice, you might want to get new juice. Cartridges are cheaper than the vials in the long run.

In the mean time, good luck with the dosecrease.

W.r.t your question about carbs.... i'm not sure that I understand your question properly, however, I'll try to answer. You can't really say how many carbs because you can't count the carbs per say. It's not like one shoe, two shoes, it's a percentage built into the food. So if you (or Doodles, I should say) eat 2 cans of 4% carbs, you are not ingesting 8%.... it's still 4%. Makes sense?

Sometimes I tell myself that if I buy clothes one of size 1 and one of size 2 it will make a 12.... but it doesn't. .... bad analogy, but it's kinda along the same lines.

We try to keep the carbs under 10% mostly and if under 5%, it's even better. For some cats, an 8% may be considered MC (medium carb) because some cats are more sensitve to carbs. The same as some people are more sensitive to cafeine.

One last thing, I see on your SS that you had a question re: food spike considering no carb. Well, you can have a food spike from eating straight protein - food is fuel... all food is fuel. Different types of food have different glycemic index (sugar scale of the body) if you'd like.

I hope that helps a little.
