Very nice AMPS Mocha! I bet you can do wonderful things starting from there....know what I mean? As in GREENS!!!??

Next time for Peter, maybe he could have some juice and plenty of fluids before and during the blood draw. It also helps to keep squeezing that ball, and to NOT think about what is actually happening to you. :lol: What an experience...!!!

Hi Mocha, You were a spectacular swimmer at the party last night. After you got thrown into the pool you surprised everyone with your swimming talent! Great AMPS this morning, and a tidy litterbox. What could be better!

Great start!

Ok, another thought about the box issue since Gabby did the same thing this AM. For her it was a matter of position. She was in the box but positioned herself so her poop missed. She usually uses the larger of the two boxes and used the smaller one this morning. Any thought of using a bigger box?

Nice AMPS this morning for Mocha! Mannie did say that mocha was the life of the party and was really impressed with her swimming skills.

on the LB ting - Sienne has a good point. Several years ago I had a similar problem, and it was the box size....

hmmm .. I don't think it is the box size .. it is the same box she has been using all along right up until a few weeks ago when she decided it was cool to poop outside of it. Plus I know it is not a matter of aim because it isn't right in front of the box, but about a foot or so away from it. I just don't understand it because while she continues to poop on the outside of it, she goes right in like she is supposed to last night and used it. The boxes are also scooped every day so they are clean for her to use as well. And she goes in and pees just fine each time. She is a frustrating kitty.

You might just try a different box. Sometimes the change is what is needed. Is your box covered? That's sometimes a problem too.

Nice numbers today. Sorry about the pooping thing.

I adopted my daughters kitty because of kitty pooping outside the box (my DD couldn't handle it and her hubby wanted to force kitty outside permanently.) Anyway, she's a little Persian kitty and rather than go crazy trying to force things, I place newspapers in front of her litter box. She pees in the box, but will poop on the paper. It's almost like she doesn't want her bum to touch the litter? I am now using a Littermate automated box that scoops the lumps within 10 minutes so I know she has 'clean' litter to poo on. Sometimes she will do one poop in the box, then the next 6 days' poops are always on the newspaper. Almost as if she forgets one day a week that she doesn't like pooping on litter.

I can't figure out a pattern, but she is ok with the newspaper and is very neat otherwise. So I accept this little quirk and save my newspapers for her. I wish I knew what is going on in her head. Maybe she is proud of her little poopy and wants to look at it just sitting on the newspaper, like a little brown sculpture? :lol:

I'm liking mocha's surf, but not getting to excited about it. She seems to do this every few weeks and then it's back to pink, pink, pink.

Thanks for all the LB suggestions. Yes, it is a covered box. Both of the LB's are covered and are the exact same size. Both get scooped daily. I guess I don't understand how she could use the same boxes in the same exact spots for almost 7 years and then within the past month decide that 95% of the time she wants to go on the outside of it, but ONLY the one in our bedroom. The other 5% of the time, she will go in the box just fine.
